Took my certified Diamond ring. The diamond alone is worth 7K. Paid 5500 for diamond about 5years ago. He flat out said diamond was only worth 1k :(went back to Jerards. They want give me trade in value of 10k.

Wonderful customer service, came here with a ton of old forgotten jewelry and was able to get a fair price without haggling or hassle. Process was simple and smooth. The two men who helped us were friendly, knowledgable and sincere. Would highly recommend this be your first stop.

I went in with a piece of 19k jewelry that weighed 18 grams. I went in to see if the staff was honest and made 6 stops at other pawn shops, dressed in my work uniform (lamdscaper) so that I would look rough. I came in with full knowledge of the value and also, the weight. I even had a story making it look like I had no clue what value it was worth. Anyhow, current pricing for 19k gold scrap is worth $ 30.15 at the moment. The man who took the jewelry from me tested it and weighed it. He told me it was 19k and that it’s weight wad 10.8 grams. He was dishonest about the weight by quite a significant amount. I continued with the transaction hoping that he would fix his dishonesty and show credibility and integrity. When he cam up with a price, he was offering $ 13.00 a gram, $ 14.00 less than all six of the previous places I stopped. WOW. My test was just protecting all gold sellers in the area. So, as a business owner myself, I new my appearance and back story would make it seem like I didn’t know much of what to expect. The final offer for the transaction was $ 140.00 which was almost $ 300 less than all 6 of my previous stops. OUCH. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I was doing a social experiment for the benefit of all people in a tough decision and saved many others a lot of money. This situation is just one of many where people were fleeced, except I knew full well of their Ill intentions. The man was very kind, but, he lacked honesty, integrity and credibility. I am not some drug addict who was looking for a fix, I am a business owner who was simply doing a test of places that won’t fleece a customer. I will be calling all the sister stores of this location and be reporting them to the BBB and the local authorities and make sure know one gets scammed by them again. Alas, I had done business with this location in the past, turning in old electronics and stuff I no longer needed, and it was a completely different staff… Well, I am saving this review, because I am sure they will try and delete it. On to the next site for a review. This incident occurred on 5-​6-​2015
