Let me just start by saying I should’ve reviewed Unilocal prior to visiting this portrait studio. I’m totally disgusted with the owner & his studio. I selected this studio for newborn pictures. When scheduling with Russ, he seemed nice & professional over the phone. He also told me the studio had relocated and provided me with the new address which wasn’t listed on his website. After arriving, no one was in the entrance to greet me. My husband had to walk to the back of the studio to find Russ. After the session started, I noticed it was very cold in the building. There wasn’t any heat in the building, so he used an electric heating pad to warm the area where my baby would be laying. After the session, I knew he was ready for payment but it seemed as if he was scared to ask. I provided my debit card and he tried swiping it on his square device for an iPhone. His device wasn’t operating properly so he started writing my card number down without asking me. I asked why and he stated he would need to attempt processing later after he called customer service. I didn’t like that all. Russ then told me it would be about 10 days for my photos and baby announcements. On the 12th day, I hadn’t even gotten a call so I called him. He had a very nasty attitude with me & stated there has been a delay in delivery due to bad weather. I told him it would’ve been nice to receive a call. I expressed to him that I had spent a lot of money with him, & I wasn’t getting the service I deserved. I finally received my entire order 2 months after my initial session. I WILLNEVERUSETHISPHOTOGRAPHERAGAIN& I DON’T RECOMMENDANYONETO!!!

YOUWILLGETRIPPEDOFFFROMINDIGOPORTRAITSTUDIOS! I wish I had seen the other two Unilocal reviews before my wife and I went there to have newborn photos taken. Russ, the owner and photographer, told us we would have our photos and photo book in 10 days. We did receive the photos after 45 days and multiple trips to the studio and phone calls. It has been 70 days and we are still waiting on the«newborn» photo book of our now almost three month old. Russ will not answer our phone calls and will not return them. We have contacted our credit card company to dispute the charge and we are going to contact the Better Business Bureau. PLEASESAVEYOURSELFTHEHEADACHEANDAVOIDINDIGOPORTRAITSTUDIOS.

horrible business practice! beware this is the same guy in pearl street now. as a photographer, he is great and got plenty of cute pictures of my son. problem is when it came time to receive the dvd we ordered, it took a month to get back as opposed to the week he promised and he gave us a horrible quality disc with my sons name spelled wrong. after several phone inquires, including being hung up on, we finally gave up on trying to get the dvd fixed and asked for our money back which he refused. we will not be going back to him for anything at this point. this was a total waste of $ 400 for very low quality photos. i recommend sears before going here.

UPDATE: 11⁄29 Numerous emails and phone calls have done nothing to persuade Russ. Still no sign of our wedding book in sight.
