Jefferson Park

Gorgeous day! Check out all the different kinds of trees here– really spectacular for a little neighborhood park!

This is a nice neighborhood park. Softball fields, child play area, blah, blah, blah. Basically a park is a park in my book.
Why 5 stars then… My Golden Retriever goes absolutely nuts and runs all around the house in anticipation of his favorite place in the world. All it takes is for him to hear the word «Park» and his theatrics commence. It’s 5 stars from a neighborhood dog with a strong opinion. Paws up for Jefferson Park.

My FAVORITE water park by FAR!!! If you don’t know what a water park is the pictures say it all and it’s an awesome thing that Tacoma Metro parks has done for the local area:)
This particular location is set in a quaint northend neighborhood, the crowd it draws is more preferable to us than some other locations and the park itself offers, basketball courts, tennis courts and a pretty awesome playground of course!!!
My daughter loves it and so do we. We always bump into someone we know as well:) Yay Jefferson Park!

Jefferson Park is a great summer park for a families with young children to school aged children.
There is a water area at the park that is an absolute relief in the hot heat that WA sometimes has to offer.
The metro parks has staff members working there offering games, art and activities for the kids throughout the day.
You can not beat free fun in the summer sun!
