Lan’s Hair Salon

About 6 years ago, I started seeing Lan, 4 years ago I started shaving my head. That 2 year window should be the entirety of my experience with her, since razors are cheaper than haircuts… It wasn’t.
Lan is awesome. Her dry sense of humor, calming tone and fun conversational tone always leaves me wishing that I had more hair for her to cut off. Her mother is usually there as well. They’re nothing but great interactions every time.
If you’re asking yourself if you should visit Lan, then ask yourself this: How many people do you know that you would knowingly pay for something that you could (maybe) do yourself? The answer probably rhymes with ‘Hero.‘
Lan is the hero here, she’s amazing at her job, remembers your name every time and always makes each experience a personalized one. On top of that, she charges rates that you could only find at Supercuts.
I’ll still be seeing Lan when my hair has fallen out and she doesn’t even turn the clippers on anymore as she ceremonially waves them over my head and calls it a ‘Hair Cut’ because I’m not ready to face the facts that I’m bald. I’ll still gladly pay her for that service, she’s that good.

Lan is awesome! She is extremely personable, a true expert at what she does. She can make your ideas come to life or explore with her creative imagination. I have been a client since 1998 and wouldn’t ever go anywhere else. You always leave her salon with a boost of self confidence. Thank you Lan!

Could not be more happy with Lan. After way too many super cuts finding this gal was the best! Although she takes walk-​ins it’s best to call ahead as she can get pretty busy. Great for the whole family… She does everything from old school buzz cuts to the latest styles. Always friendly and always remembers your cut from the last time you were in. Doesn’t open till 11:00am but is usually open till 7:00pm.

She’s the best hairstylist ever ! Make sure to make an appointment because she’s very popular ! She gives you the best experience and treats you like you should be treated ! She listens when you tell her what kind of hair you want and she does it perfect ! Best ever !!!

Let me preface this review by stating that because of work, I often need to get my haircut as often as 2 – 3 times per month so I have gone to many different barbers/​stylists and I must say Lan’s Hair Salon is absolutely one of my favorite places to go.
Lan takes a lot of pride in her craft and you can tell from just talking to her and how much care she takes in cutting your hair that she wants you to feel absolutely great about her work, and so far she has never disappointed. Lan has a ton of regulars and works by herself so she is almost always busy but she never rushes her work and takes the time to make sure you get exactly what you want. Her rate is more than reasonable and right around what everyone in the area charges.
For me, having a stylist/​barber who knows how to engage customers is almost as important as the actual hair cut itself. Lan will remember you and the conversation she had with you even if you go to her shop once. She really makes you feel like her salon is your place and because of this she has a lot of regulars. I really respect that about her and I really respect her work ethic. I believe that’s one of the main reasons she does so well at what she does. And I did mention that she works alone right?

LAN is the bomb!!! Had to get my haircut last minute and she hooked me up! This place for sure is gonna be my new spot to get my hair done!

Lan is the best, I followed her from Supercuts 8 years ago when she opened. Super quality, fair pricing and very nice person. A hard working person who delivers a quality service

I have been going to Lan’s Hair Salon for more than four years and it is great. She always does a great job and has consistant regulars that have been coming in for years. I always walk away feeling good. Her work is of high quality and at a very reasonable price. A friend of mine used to go to Lan’s and then moved to Seattle. All he does is complain about the high prices to get his haircut in Seattle and how he needs to come back and see Lan.

If you need something done to your hair. this is the place to do it. Lan’s Hair Salon is affordable. Everytime I go there, the place is always busy. Though there is only one stylist, Lan, it is still busy during those slow days during the week. Lan is the best hostess. If you are sitting there, waiting for your turn to get a haircut, she will start a conversation with you and anyone else around you. You will not feel like it is just a day to get a haircut but she will make it fun for you. She will make sure that you are totally satisfied with your haircut, dye or whatever you came in there to do and if you are not satisfied, she will make sure that you are before you leave.
