I have used this business over the years when I have large items to wash/dry. Today I went and did 3 King sized quilts. I used 3 of the commercial 2.5−3 load washers for $ 3.00 each. 2 of them appeared to work fine, spinning the quilt to an acceptable dryness for moving to the dryers. One of the machines(#33) did not spin well. The quilt was saturated with water and was very heavy to removed from the machine. I had no choice but to try drying it in one of the large dryers. The other 2 dried in about 40 minutes(at 25 cents per 5 min) but even after drying the damp quilt for over 5 $ worth of time(60 minutes) it still came out very very damp. There was no extractor machine available at this location. I looked around and found a small sign that stated to call a number(I did not have a cell phone with me) or to leave a note«under the back door». No Paper. No Pen. So… to home I went with my soggy quilt and HOPE that my home dryer will be able to eventually get it dry. It would have been nice to have some paper and pen available OR a pay phone(gawd only knows I had enuf quarters to use on a phone). So, my suggestion is that if you use this business you be sure to take a cell phone and/or pen and paper so there is some way to communicate to the owner that their equipment did not do the job as hoped.
