Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

The newest Menchie’s location is in the new food court next to Mod Pizza and across from BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. There are seven machines with 14 flavors of self-​serve frozen yogurt at $ 0.57 per ounce. Toppings are plentiful with more than 50 different toppings to choose from including chocolate, candy, cereal, cookies, fruit, nuts, cookie dough bites, and cheesecake bites. Don’t forget to grab a freshly baked waffle bowl while you’re there.
The restaurant is brightly decorated in Menchie’s signature pink and green colors and has a fun, cheerful décor. There are tables indoor as well as a few tables outside for warmer days. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I always receive personalized service.
Looking for something to take home for your freezer? Pre-​packaged yogurt is available of various flavors at a price of $ 6.99 for 32 ounces. Military discounts are available, and there is a mySmileage rewards program for frequent customers. They even have $ 5 Fill-​Up Friday where you can fill up a 16 oz cup with yogurt and toppings for a modest price of $ 5.
The store has also recently started making their own fro-​yo cakes for $ 24.99. Customers can pick from either a chocolate or vanilla cake base, then select two flavors of fro-​yo, and a topping which will be inserted into the cake. There are several designs to choose from no matter what occasion you’re looking for, plus you can even customize it with your own photo. I’ve personally tried five different combinations, and every cake I’ve had has been amazing.
It’s great to finally see Tacoma Mall get a better frozen yogurt option than what was already there. With the strategic location and so many yummy offerings, this Menchie’s is sure to be a busy one.

This location is awesome. I came in here with a party of 30 (mostly kids) for dessert after dinner, and they were so kind and patient with us. I didn’t spend as much as I expected, which was a plus! I have yet to experience a bad time in here. Every visit is a good one, flavors are always delicious!

Don’t be that one person that puts the cup on the scale with your fingers still holding on to it and the spoon left inside the cup. You are charged by the ounce playa-​playa!
Overall, a nice place to get your yogurt fix on! The kiddos will love the experience and the assortment of toppings from candies, nuts, and fruit bits to add to your yogurt is endless. Any way you like it! The combinations are endless but just be aware that you are being charged by the ounce. Choose wisely my friend!
BTW, If you hold a grudge with your ex-​wife or baby momma who will be coming around shortly to pick-​up the babies because it’s her weekend to have the kids. Bring them here to load them up on sugar! You’ll kill two birds with one stone easily! The kids will love you for a short moment in time and you’ll stick that trifling EX with a one-​two punch.

I finally gave in and was surprised on how good they were.

I like the variety of flavors, and how they keep having new flavors. I also like the variety of toppings. I normally go to the Federal Way location, but this location hasn’t disappointed me yet.

This place is awesome! I was going to Limeberry often, but then they closed down. So me and hubby decided to give this place a try and there’s more variety here! The yogurt tastes great, great flavors, and the toppings are fresh! I had a combination of Reese’s, chocolate, and cookie butter yogurt with the toppings: heath, kit kat, chocolate chips, oreo, and chocolate syrup… perfection!!! My hubby had vanilla, and pineapple yogurt with the toppings: kiwi, strawberry, almonds, and whip cream and he loved it! Plus the cashier girl that helped us was super nice! Will definitely be coming back!

Menchie’s has now reached T-​town! I was disappointed to hear the location, as I really hate anything located by the mall, especially the food court side which is already saturated by traffic.
The one thing you can expect about Menchie’s is that every location is the same. Same set-​up etc. The flavors this visit were nothing special unfortunately and I was a bit sad but hey saved me some unneeded extra calories.
Nothing to special to note about the place, they do offer a military discount which was good to know. The tables and chairs could have used a good wipe down…

I have a love/​hate relationship with Menchies. Considering this establishment is still fairly new, I was glad to see that it was actually clean and I wasn’t sticking to the ground! The machines were clean and the trash bin wasn’t overflowing with used sticky tester cups.
On my recent trip, the flavors were meh. Not very exciting and I just went with my usual. The girl behind the counter was actually nice compared to the ones by my house.

Menchie’s is my favorite frozen yogurt. I’m glad to have finally found one in the area. They have lots of great toppings and are incredibly friendly.
