Mini-Skool Early Learning Centers – Tacoma

I just started taking my daughter here so she can have some interaction with other kids a few times a week. The first thing I loved is that they have a great website with a lot of information on it. I was able to schedule a tour right away and then someone even called me the next day to confirm all the details. I love prompt service probably more then any other factor. I myself am a very punctual organized person and I appreciate it when other people are too. Her classroom looked very much as I expected it would, with different sections for different things, reading corner, block corner, quiet corner. They have a playground as well. I didn’t get on my hands and knees with white gloves to check for dirt and germs but honestly, this is a building that houses over a hundred kids on any given day, I am sure they have times for cleaning, but you can tell their main focus is the children and their happiness and well being. They offered my daughter a free ‘discovery’ day which she loved. They said she got emotional a few times because I wasn’t there but it wasn’t anything that they weren’t able to help her thru, which I appreciate. My favorite thing about this place is their easy scheduling options. You can choose full days or half days, full week, or 2 – 3 days of the week and payment is due at the beginning of each week instead of at the beginning of the month. It does seem a little spendy at first but after crunching the numbers, it works out to about 10 – 12 bucks an hour for my daughter to basically hang out with kids for four hours a day, 2 – 3 days a week, which is actually cheaper then a babysitter, plus they get meals, which doesn’t cost anything extra. We just started going here and so far everything has been wonderful. I will update this review in a few months or if anything happens that I feel needs to be reviewed, but definitely give this place a chance.

I would run! Dont go here. Check the state reviews. 17 state complains. That place is dirty. They never wipe my child’s bum and he comes home with poop stains in his underwear.
A mouth-​hand-​foot virus is going around and of course my child got it. The main cause of this virus, contact with stool or not washing hands after a dirty diaper.
The teachers are very emotionless and when a child is having a rough time at drop off, they don’t comfort the children when their parents leave.
2 of the girls that work there are so rude to my child. If I know my son’s teacher won’t be in, I won’t send him to school. I don’t want the aids to watch him. They are to forceful with the children and seem to raise their voice alot.
I refuse to let him go back another day.
