MK Periodontics and Implants

I was nervous about surgery for my receding gums, in fact I had been putting it off for years. Dr. Karbakhsch instantly put me at ease. She explained exactly what the gum graft surgery entailed, why it would benefit me, and I left feeling ready to finally get my gums fixed. I had heard stories that recovery from this surgery could be very uncomfortable so I was hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. Although I had some mild soreness, I was pleasantly surprised that I honestly had no pain. The surgery and healing all went amazingly well. The office staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Karbakhsch and her office! Thank you for making this experience as pleasant as possible!

I had put this appt off far too long and needed to get some work done on my gum line. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it went and how little discomfort there was. I would highly recommend the work done at this office and the care given throughout the procedure and following. I would suggest that you watch/​double check your bill as I had an issue that they resolved after we reviewed it together but that is my only issue with this office.

As a dentist myself, I take choosing a specialist VERY seriously. My dentist referred me to MK Perio and I had a gum graft surgery done. Dr. Karbakhasch is a perfectionist and did beautiful work. I only took Tylenol after the procedure and had no need for anything stronger as my pain was minimal. I can not more highly recommend a periodontist.
