Recently had over 40k in repairs to 37′ Bayliner. Anxious as I was, Darrin handled my incessant calls and frequent drop ins(to see progress) extremely well. He also answered my numerous questions and offered cost saving solutions. This was quite helpful as I am fairly new to motoryachting and know very little about engine and marine repairs. The technicians/mechanics were very professional. Especially Scottie. Repairs came in slightly below estimates and when I had curtains and upholsetry replaced by other vendor. Modutech didn’t charge me extra for extra days in his yard. Received line item invoice with great detail explaining charges and a key to use to get in after hours and pick up my boat as I couldn’t make it during normal hours.

Terrible experience. Worked with a guy named Darren who was consistently rude. The work took months longer(and significantly more money) than he quoted us, and our boat came back in worse shape than when we took it in. Darren was inpatient when answering our questions and acted too self-important to be helpful. The marina is out of the way and their hours are inconvenient. I couldn’t have been more displeased with my experience.
