Pros: They take coupon during happy hour= Super Duper discount! All appetizers are half off during Happy hour. The waitress was nice and friendly. Environment was clean. Great wood fired pizza! Food we like: 13“Nutty chicken pizza $ 16.99 Lasagne comes with bianca bread and sauce(taste like crackers) 7″ inch cheesy bread with marinara sauce Cons: The italian chicken was a ok. The pizza is a bit pricey. So, overall experience was good!

This is a nice spot to eat. Being from out of state and never eaten here before I was not sure what to expect. From the outside it looks like a normal pizza joint, but inside it is well put together. It has an upscale feel to it. They have a variety of items to choose from on the menu. I went with the Ulta-meat pizza. It was great. The service good and the staff was friendly.

It was very good. As an East Coaster that is saying alot. The poor waitress was the only one there so she was very busy. I would order Mike’s calzone again

My wife and I love this place and in fact returned two nights in a row while we stayed at the Red Lion across the street. The food was excellent both nights. We both had a pizza the first night. My pizza had pine nuts, artichoke hearts, grilled chicken and an Alfredo sauce that was out of this world. My wife had the SGT Pepperoni and was very pleased. The also have .99 cent draft beer for Military! The second night we tried the pasta. I had the tortellini and my wife had the ravioli both with Alfredo sauce! Again, everything was outstanding! The first night was not busy and the service was great! The second night it was very busy with several large parties and the service suffered significantly! We were in no real hurry, so we sat close to the fire place and just enjoyed our evening! The price is a little high for a normal pizza joint, but this is no Cici’s. This is very well done, carefully thought out and downright delicious gourmet food served in an outstanding atmosphere that is pleasant for families and party goers! There are 5 or 6 tvs on the wall that both nights were showing college football. They were not obnoxiously loud, but if you wished you could keep up with the game. Total 1st night $ 37.00+tip Total 2nd night $ 45.00+tip Overall great restaurant and could be a 5 star if they had more servers!

I went for lunch this time. I liked it! I had the cheesy bread with special artichoke dip. It was just ok, but, it was cheap. I also had the neo luau pizza(lunch sized). I really like the luau pizza toppings together. Plus, it was $ 8 and I have another meals worth. I also had two margaritas and thought they were good. The waitress was very nice and didn’t get overboard with her service. I enjoyed my food and look forward to eating my leftovers(which says a lot for me:)

Pizza was great. Used their groupon. It was worth it. Two large pizza’s and a pitcher of beer for 20 bucks(worth 40 bucks?). Full bar, fast service, and clean. Pizza came out pretty quick too — less than 20 minutes during prime time dinner service. Would it be worth 40 dollars? Can’t say for sure, probably 30 dollars. Pizza is thin but not«thin» crust. Flavors are there but not spectacular for the price. The cocktail drinks were generous. Overall, I think its trying to hard to be a classy version of The Rock Wood Fired Pizza. If I was in the area, I’d go here instead of driving to downtown Tacoma for the Rock. I wouldn’t necessary make a special trip here.

My friends and I tried this place out with a great Living Social coupon. We received to «large»(not very large at all!) pizzas, large salad, 1 pitcher of beer, and we were supposed to receive breadsticks with the meal, but did not.(Our server was new.) We did not notice the missing breadsticks until after the meal, so it was no biggie. The pizza itself was good. Not great, not horrible. The salad was HUGE and also good, the dressing slightly on the bland side. Even without the coupon«The manager’s special»(which is what we got) is $ 45, which I think is a fair price for 4 people to eat and be full AND with a pitcher of a beer. I would not necessarily seek this place out to go again, but if I somehow ended up back there, I would not be devastated.

Bought a groupon and my hubby and I went and had way to much food left over. Way better pizza than major food chains.

It was too far to drive down to The Rock so thought we’d try the pizza at Neo. Ugh… expensive and not much in the way of toppings or flavor. The server was friendly and the service was good. Too bad the pizza did not do as well as our server. Will not return

Good wood fired pizza. If you need some wood fired pizza, go here. seems like the fire is not hot enough as the centre of the pizza does suffer from soggyness. Weekdays they seem to have 1 waitress, 1 busboy and a cook. So if its busy don’t expect to see your waitress often. I was there on quiet nights so service was good.

Solid three stars. Nothing special. One size fits all pizza and most are around $ 14-. Doughy crust, thin sauce. Not bad, not great.

Went with some friends who said this was the best pizza ever. The place was pretty quiet for a saturday night so the service was very prompt. However, that said, I’ve had better pizza. We had the margharita pizza which normally has real tomatoes on top along with the basil and cheese. This one had the cheese, only tomato sauce and I think the basil might have walked by and left a few sprigs. We did share a family style salad with our friends which was tasty and large enough for the four of us. Not expensive which was nice but we can do better when we want pizza.

Nice and clean place. Food took awhile, and it was really cold inside! I’ve had better frozen pizzas then the pizza surged here! Definitely nothing special.

Not better pizza then the rock, but the California Girl they have working there makes up for it

I wish I could say more positive things about the neo luau pizza I ordered, but it was just okay. The crust was a bit flimsy and moist under the toppings and the edges had a decent crisp toothsome quality, but I’ve had better and tastier wood-fired crust at other places. The prosciutto bits were a bit too salty and the gorgonzola was overwhelming in a not-so-good way. The neo caesar salad was pretty good, but for some reason, the lettuce leaves were barely chopped and had to be cut at the table to avoid smearing salad dressing all over your face. The waitress was very friendly and I appreciated the layout of the restaurant, but I was fairly disappointed with the pizza itself.

Pizza is a very thin crust style, I’d say it’s decent. There was nothing spectacular about it but it was good. I did feel that it was overpriced for the size of the pizza you get. The side salad was good, balsamic dressing was good as well. Nice little place to sit and eat.

Absolutely horrible restaurant experience. I stopped in here on the way from Olympia to Seattle for dinner. I waited over 45 minutes and kept being told my food was on its way. It never came. I asked for a manager and was told there was not one.(Really?) When I paid for my drink the cashier was very rude and said I was inconsiderate for leaving before my food came because I should understand they are busy. I told her that the expectations set were not appropriate and that if they would have told me I would have chosen another place to eat. She replied is a very sarcastic tone«Thank you for your feedback… like I really care» I will never go back here again. Absolutely terrible!

This is not your Godfather/pizza hut style pizza. This is good Neapolitan style pizza. Very good flavors, nice thin crust. Parking can be a issue sometimes but most times it is not. They also have other items on the menu such as salads and calzones if you are not wanting the pizza.

WAAAAYWAAAAY better than the rock, been to both places, Neo’s definitely has more flavor, originality and flair. Low key place, kinda makes ya wonder, but the food is DELICIOUS. The people are so-so, they do their job and they do it well, no over achievers here. **EDIT — I went back the weekend of Valentines 2010(Yes I’m behind updating). It was my sister, my hubby, daughter and myself, we had a pizza that was like a 4 in one divided into 4 separate sections, and a caprese salad with a modern spin(it was an actual salad). BOTH items were SOOO delicious! We polished off the entire meal HAPPILY. I can’t wait for our next visit. The staff(which was different than our original visit) was nice, and very polite. The pricing is MORE than reasonable for such a fabulous product. Best pizza I’ve had in Tacoma, and they will be seeing us again!**
