Fun. There are 2 different haunts, we took the shorter one because the 13 year olds I was with had never been before. Just enough scary for them and a couple jumps for me too.

Just visited Pierce County Haunted Asylum and had a fantastic time, stopped in about 7:45 pm with my friends and went through the adult scare twice. The owner is very friendly and and the volunteers are amazing. Love that all the proceeds go to amazing charities. Will come again in October.

We went on a double date and had a lot of fun! There are some things you should know. They are actively working on the food, but anyone who thinks they are coming for a gourmet meal is expecting too much. That is not really what this is about. It is catered and needs work, but the people CARE about improving it. They kept asking us for feedback because they want to get it right. Second, it is for charity, so all these people are kind and are doing something with their free time for a good cause. The mystery was more of a riddle than a who dunnit and is multi layered as you look for strategically placed items throughout the HUGE house… it takes a while! Dr. Dementia is AWESOME, I could talk to him all night… but be sure you take your meds! That is the other part… they interact with you, but you have to start it, so it can go any way you like. Not just a haunted house in that they say boo and that’s it… they all have stories. Well done. If you are in the front you will get spooked. I was at one point and flew back against the wall it was so good! It is not high gore, you won’t run through it, but will enjoy each room as you look for clues. The bottom line was we all left with our faces hurting from smiling… can’t beat that. We will be back!

This was a disappointing experience. It was supposed to be a murder mystery, but it really didn’t come off that way at all. It is just a haunted house. I expected so much more for $ 30 per person. The food was extremely low grade and cold, almost inedible. The restroom is an outdoor port o potty out on the street. A few of the actors were talented, but most were just kids who often broke character«did someone take my water bottle?» «don’t touch that it’s not a clue». The venue is cheesy, came off very cheap and thrown together. We all felt uncomfortable and embarrassed to be there. We purchased a green screen photo which was taken at an odd angle, was blurry, and printed with lines running through it. I would give it zero stars if I could.
