Subway

I do not give out very many five-​star reviews however I believe this time and at this location deserved 5 star rating! When I arrived there were two young men ordering several sandwiches and only one young lady behind the counter. The orders that they were barking out at her were demanding to say the least. She accommodated every request they made even when it was ridiculous… Putting cheese before meat rearranging lettuce instead of tomatoes, it was ridiculous. The line started forming behind me three deep and this young lady kept her cool the entire time offering great customer service to these young gentlemen… After finishing up their order and ringing them up to apologize to each and everyone of us in line who had to wait even though it was only a few minutes. She took my order and got it exactly as I would have expected… And even offered a cookie for my time. Although I didn’t need the cookie I took the cookie home with me. I left her a tip because she deserved it! Generally coming to a subway you get standard and mediocre customer service with your sandwich to go… But not this time! I think I might try this again and see if the same goes for other employees?!

The fact that you’re looking at Unilocal for a review on Subway, let alone a Subway in Spanaway is kind of pointless. I had a good experience today, took less than 5 minutes to get my food, the employees were all kids except the manager and really I wasn’t expecting anything more. If I want Subway again while in Spanaway I’d have no issues with coming back.

Never go here. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. My boyfriend and I walked in and noticed two girl workers sitting at the drive thru window laughing and talking to a guy. Looked at us and just went back to talking. Didn’t greet us, ask us how we were, or ask if they could help us with anything. We stood there for about 5 minutes. It was ridiculous.

Wow slowest service subway in the country. Go elsewhere unless you want to wait 30 minutes for your order. Kind of feel bad for the one worker they have behind the counter at lunch hour.

Wow, worst customer service of any subway I’ve ever been to (being a full time traveler all over the US… this is a big statement). They really skimp on their veggies, too. Don’t waste your money; drive the 5 miles north and hit the next shop!

Marissa, I wish I had seen the bad review and wouldn’t have bothered to go today. They took absolutely forever to get my order, and when I went to eat my cold cut combo, I realized that they cut their costs by using Bologna in place of salami… this is a huge difference and I really cannot stand bologna, call it childhood food hatred, it’s slimy and soggy and tasteless and textureless and awful and I really had wanted salami on my sandwich…
The girl taking my order was smirky and slow and the place is just run down in general.

Subway sandwiches are subway sandwiches… pretty cookie cutter and not very easy to screw up, so my issue here is not with the food. Went in tonight and had the clerk complain to me the whole time about his boss, having to work on his birthday, not having time to smoke a cigarette and maybe not even having a cigarette to smoke. While ringing me up he then began to tell me how he hacked their computer (register) the other day… NOT BY ANY MEANS PROFESSIONAL and I no longer feel comfortable using a credit card at this location so I will not be back. The reason this did not get a «1 star» is because the food is still pretty good.
