***FRAUD ALERT*** Do NOT use these photographers!!! These people will talk a big talk, but then when you see their work — and I emphasize the word «their» work, because I am not convinced that they took the photos they claim to have — their work is shit! We had an engagement session at a beautiful location and he treated it as a portrait session posing us like it was some 80’s glamor shoot (no cute couple shots of us kissing or holding hands). We were the ones to set up the cutest shots and even when we did that the lighting was still poor. He blamed it on the time of day, but we went back out to the same location at the same time of day, and I was able to take amazing photos. They claim to have 30 years experience shooting weddings, but cannot even get an engagement session right?!? When I raised some concern (as brides often do about such important things as their WEDDING DAY PHOTOS) they became VERY defensive and started making excuses. After seeing their gallery online I was expecting our photos would be of the same quality, but our photos looked amateur. I would say to go to their smug mug website to see for yourself, but they already took down our «engagement» pictures, haha, what a joke!
We offered them money for their services up front so that we wouldn’t have to think about payments, they declined, then sent us an invoice a week before the wedding (that was due in 2 days) and when I forgot to pay that (humm, I wonder what else I had going on a week before my wedding) and emailed him the next day apologizing and offering to make the payment right away, he said the contract was void and refused to photo our wedding. Who does that? If these people were REAL human beings, they would have contacted us or let us pay, but instead they chickened out! They are WAY too sensitive to be working with emotional brides or any brides for that matter. They cannot take constructive criticism from a fellow photographer that they obviously trust enough to refer business to.
Oh yes! I let them know that I was interested in photographing weddings and before they even saw ANY of my work, they were ready to set me up to photograph someone’s wedding on Sept 19^th in Bothell. I wish I could upload a screen shot of the text message! Who does THAT? Talk about bad business practices! I was shocked and could not imagine being that bride! Having a business refer their «assistant» (as they called me) who has very little experience! What if I would have said yes and screwed up that brides wedding? Would they have cared? These people are something else! As soon as I called them out on their bull shit, they ran for the hills. I probably dodged a bullet because they have no integrity and probably would not have even showed up and just ran with our money! Wish I could give a negative star rating. ***BE WARNED!!***

Home business, Nixon was really nice and friendly. Very flexible with the price and accommodate my needs. Quick response and willing to work outside of the contract as long as the client are happy. Nixon was really understandable and great customer service! Understandable and always happy!

We had a great experience with these guys doing our product pictures. This is the 3^rd place that we have gotten pic’s done and it will be the only place from now on. Prices are extremely competitive and everything came out great.
