This is one of the last of a bread. It’s true old school Americana. It’s a true tavern that servers only beer and wine. It’s filled with regulars. I have been a customer for 30yrs. They servers just plain yummy comfort food. Burgers, roasted fried chicken, scratch made pizza and great sandwiches. Nightly specials. It’s fun a place with great staff. Mike Graham and his staff are wonderful. Even My mom likes it here. Few of today’s people know or appreciate this kind of place.

Food is delish. Service is on point. The kitchen staff works their tail of and slings out quickly. Fun atmosphere and great company. If your looking for some bar food and good drinks. Come here.

Maybe I am biased but I have been coming to Terry’s for many years and always had a fantastic time and never a bad meal.
Ok so lets get down to it, Ok the food is very good, but mostly bar food meaning burgers, pizza, salads, and fried goodness. If it was my first time in here I would most definitely order the fried chicken or the hog-​wings (pressured cooked pork still on the bone). I have had the pizza which I found pretty good too. They have a few good beers on tap; Elysian Men’s room is one of them, but since they are owned by AB I wont be drinking them anymore. Otherwise the standard beer selection. But what makes this place special is everyone is just very chill and friendly, the servers remember your name and they show all of the important sport games. Also this place gets busy and I mean busy, especially when the Tacoma Runners are around, but the food comes out in good time and it is always hot.
So if you want craft beer, which I love or something fancy to eat then you will probably want to go somewhere else. But if you want some hearty bar food (oh yeah fried mac and cheese or called «crack» because you will be addicted) and a nice bar to just unwind in, then stop on in and give them a whirl I think you will be surprised.

Came here on a Wednesday after work for some drinks and dinner as my friend and I have heard good things about this place. Nice selection of beers on tap as well as canned /​bottled. I had a Mac & Jacks and the special for Wednesday which was An 8oz steak, Jo’s or Tots, side salad and dinner roll for $ 12.95. Bar food doesn’t get much better than this! Everything was great, can’t complain. Restaurant is clean, bartenders are attentive, a couple of TV’s and video games as well. All in all, nice little American Bar.

Terry’s is a pretty typical bar if that’s what you’re looking for. You can get beer and bar food, so that’s that. My favorite part of Terry’s is the dog dish and water faucet outside 24 hours a day. It’s on a common walking and running route that I use so it’s great for my dog! Thanks, Terry’s!

Terry’s has been an extended family mainstay for years. Went on game night for the Really crowded. Menu was extensive, much larger than a typical bar. Jo-​joes were fantastic & so fresh, as were the onion rings. Crispy tacos were pretty good, soft ones were passable.
The raved about wings were hot temperature & crispy without being greasy. Too earthy tasting for me, like too much sage or something.
Will be back to try the Hogwings & fries plus I hear their pizza is the bomb.

Good neighborhood bar, nice, friendly service… terrible food. I had a hamburger that was a cheap frozen patty cooked way too much, served with grease soaked fries. Very disappointing. Nice place to drink, bad place to eat even if drunk.

Very busy Saturday night with one guy working up front. He was very courteous while working his ass off! I’d heard that the fried chicken there was pretty good. Well they didn’t disappoint. Ice cold beer and nice lil neighborhood watering hole. Gonna bring some buddies by after golf this summer.

Just a great wonderful neighborhood Tavern, nothing special. Very friendly good food.

Place is awesome, divey, but the bartenders remember you and its as chill as it comes

Typical friendly neighborhood bar. Complete with your usual suspects, daily specials, pull tabs and ice cold beer on tap.

I like Terry’s because it’s old people drinking at its best. I have talked about beer can collecting welding and other manly things of a by gone past. The service is normally good as long as you don’t have be anywhere soon and most of the patrons don’t. I like the steak sandwich I’m not a big JoJo fan but I hear good things. If you want to relax on a lazy afternoon Terrys is the place.

I heard good things about Terry’s Office Tavern and decided to give it a try while I was out and about one day for lunch.
The place is definitely a place where people in the neighborhood like to go. Everyone seems to know everyone here.
The service is friendly, almost in a small town kind of way.
I got their spaghetti and meatballs special along with a Mac and Jacks.
It doesn’t matter where you are, having a Mac and Jacks beer is always good!
The spaghetti was just alright. The portions were huge and the noodles themselves seemed to be homemade. I didn’t care for the spaghetti sauce all that much. It seemed bland with an occasional sausage piece to give it some sort of kick.
While I didn’t care for the food all that much Terry’s is decent enough to go to on a game day or just a place to kick back and take it easy. There are pinball machines to play and I think some arcade games. Other than that there are not a whole lot of frills here.

If you get tired of the riff raff at other bars in the area then stop by this place. Its got an older crowd there but they are very friendly and funny people. The food is good and I’d recommend the gizzards there at any time. Yeah its just a tavern and not some Michelin afterbirth but at least its a fun alternative. Good place to relax and shoot some pool.

I don’t know what drugs people are taking to say the pizza here is better than clover leaf. The pizza here USED to be comparable to cloverleaf but for a couple years now, has gone down hill. I truly wish it was up to clover leaf standards because I live almost right across the street! Years ago, my step Mom worked here, and the pizza was awesome, but the son took over the business and the food has gone down hill since. I’d maybe give this place a 4 star but I’m honestly very disappointed that the pizza sucks so badly now, when it used to be one of the top 3 pizza places in Tacoma.

Big fan of this place… just a divey kinda bar with amazing pizza, great service, and friendly people. the nachos looked great too! Would recommend this place to anyone. FYI they only serve beer and wine, no liquor. YUMMY PLACE!!!

Great nachos and Jos. The make their own pizza which is good as well. I must say though the ranch for the nachos is delicious! Love the kitsch of the place and the style of it all. The staff is friendly, even though I only order Cokes, and never had a bad time there. The regulars are nice folks as well.
If you are looking for an upscale bar with umbrellas in the drinks go somewhere else. If you are looking for a friendly kitschy place that resembles Tacoma, you have come to the right spot.
