The Birthing Inn

We gave birth here with our daughter in March 2013. Susan was an absolutely amazing midwife. We took hypnobirthing classes to be prepared for natural birth. It was a very positive great experience. We almost haven’t seen doctors since. Mama and baby left birth center a few hours later completely healthy.

I wanted to deliver my daughter here, but because of unforeseen circumstances I could not. I did, however, come here for their child birth classes, which were great. They focused on natural birth which included all kinds of useful information such as optimal positions, pain management techniques, and even couples bonding practices. My instructor was Emmy Lay, who was absolutely delightful. She kept class fun and informative.
I would highly recommend this class to any first-​time-​mom, whether you are wanting to deliver at TBI, the hospital, or at home.

to birth at. Love, love, love the Birthing Inn. I gave birth to both my children here and both times had perfect births. The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. They’ve helped catch tons of babies and you can really tell. They’re wonderful. My first gave me the worst back labor ever! The girls there had tons of tricks for helping manage the pain. The second time, I labored in the whirlpool, which was so helpful. The rooms are beautiful and calming with large beds and soothing lighting. There are courtyards that you can labor in (walking, ect.) too. I noticed that they now have massage therapists for pregnant moms and accupuncturists that use one of the back rooms if you are so inclined. If you are into a more natural non-​hospital, non-​threatening labor and delivery experience call the Birthing Inn and ask for a tour. They’re the best!
