Great coffee! Cold beer! Friendly staff! I haven’t figured out why it’s not busier. Underrated. The local community needs to step up so we can keep this place around for a long time to come.

I needed to put in a few hours of studying for an upcoming test, and I’m so glad I gave Treos a try! They had everything I was looking for: delicious espresso(I had an Americano and it was quite tasty), large tables with good lighting, and some delightful happy hour food options.(I got the Treos Flatbread which was scrumptious and an excellent bargain at $ 5.) I will definitely have to come back and have a beer sometime when I’m not in study-mode.

Being in graduate school, I spend a great deal of time studying in local coffee shops. After getting burned out on a number of coffee shops in town, I decided to try Treos, as the place looked beautiful from the outside. My friend and I popped into the store on a Monday night. We were in luck as it just happened to be happy hour. I ordered a soft pretzel and a hot chocolate(I’m not a fan of coffee). The pretzel was extremely large, and came with a delicious mustard sauce. The food and drinks were great, but I think I would not have been as happy with the order, if I had paid full price and not happy hour prices. The coffee shop is also a great study spot. There is a fair number of well-lit tables, outlets, fast, free wifi, and very few people. The server was also extremely attentive and came over to check on my friend and I on numerous occasions. This is a great spot to meet and catch up with a friend and is welcoming to students.

Sooo… We were out and about, looking for a café to try out and we came here. No one was there, just one guy that worked there. Next to the counter there was a big sign, and in bold writing it said«buy 2 bags of beans and get a free tumbler» I said, oh «what’s a tumbler» to which he responded«I don’t know… I’m new» then he just stared at us awkwardly and without breaking eye contact as we looked at the menu above his head. We just started walking backwards and left that place…

The best chai in Tacoma! I love that they offer more than just soy as a milk substitution! Their spinach salad and flatbreads are also delicious. And gluten free options are available which I love!!! Friendly service and you get your food and drinks quickly!

Great coffee; LOUSY WiFi! Really some of the best coffee around. Not over roasted at all, and thoughtfully prepared. I think I heard the old modem tones… buzz, buzz, buzz… ang, ang, ang… Took me 15 minutes to connect after a reboot.

This little coffee place, which used to be a popular Tacoma spot under a different name, now has a dark and modern vibe. Surprisingly, they have a GREAT oven-grilled pesto turkey sandwich. It was delicious and filling. They also have fresh, local baked goods. Only thing — as someone who doesn’t drink coffee, they could improve their tea options. I like a good iced green tea, iced chai tea latte, etc. and those aren’t options here. Otherwise, I’d definitely return for the food :)

Great coffee, great location, great service, great owners! Could not be happier with my experience and will keep coming back for more and spreading the good word. Treo’s is the best!

I drove through for some coffee, and the service was great, they have the coolest to-go coffee cups ever, I think that they are one of the only drive-thru coffee stands in this area, so the location is really good. I was not a fan of the coffee though. I think that it might have been served too hot, because it was biter, and I really couldn’t detect the flavor. I think that this location has great potential, but they need to work on their coffee making skills just a bit. I will come back in a while to see if there is an improvement!

Just opened this week, the 2nd Treos Coffee Café’ in Tacoma. Most of you will remember this as one of the early Forza shops, one which closed it’s doors awhile ago. As a regular visitor back then, I was excited to learn the popular destination shop had been re-opened by another group … Treos, making this the second Treos space in Tacoma. They did not just come in, change the signage and re-brand a Forza shop — they gave it a completely new«coat of paint», so to speak, and it is definitely a new and different Café’, bearing the hallmarks of the(first) original Treos in Old Town … a beautiful shop. It is a little on the sparse side, but this should change, as Treos(and we customers) grow into the space. As to coffee and assorted food items, it is the typical Treos excellence that many of you have already found in the original one. Though parking can be a little tough at times, in this small plaza on 12th and Union, there is a Drive Through at this location. You are only a few minutes away from the 6th Avenue shops, and from the Target plaza, so it makes for an easy stop-in when you are in either of those areas. I’ve posted a few photos, which I think you’ll find interesting — and particularly so, if you were a customer of the the Forza before this. I recommend giving this place a try, it will be well worth the walk, drive(or cab?).
