Uncorked Canvas

I just loved Uncorked Canvas! The atmosphere was fantastic, instructor was helpful, and wine was delicious! For the 35 $ I spent I got paint, the canvas, a glass of wine, and an instruction on how to paint a fabulous painting! Lots of fun and really great time.
The only thing I would have liked was the ability to purchase another glass of wine. But other than that it was just amazing!

This place is amazing. While they were overbooked for the day my friends registered for, they were able to let me register on short notice!
It was a little intimidating attempting to paint, but the entire staff made everyone feel so comfortable. They started with us stenciling one of the focal points of the piece and from there, they guided us while letting our creativity take the lead. Also, aside from wine, they offered other beverages and snacks.
My friends and I cannot wait until our next paint and wine night!

Oh my, what a fun place! The instructor was awesome, the painting was a blast, and everyone was so friendly! I was nervous because I haven’t painted since I was in elementary school and had no clue what I was doing, but I had fun regardless of my artistic skills!
Great for a date night, girls night, whatever kind of night. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a good time and the staff was very friendly. Only down side was when I booked it for a ladies night out I asked if the wine and beer was included and they said yes. They did not mention it was only one glass with no option to purchase more. In the future I would recommend clarifying to the customer since it is advertised as a wine a painting event. The experience otherwise was great and I would likely go back!

Overall good. Went there with friends a few weeks ago and the painting portion and customer service was great however it’s advertised as a wine and painting place… when really you get ONE glass of wine or Coke/​soda/​pop (included in price) and that’s all. Previously I’ve been to wine and painting places where you can buy a bottle of wine, or at least more than one glass, to drink while painting. Only one glass was unexpected. Like mentioned previously though– the painting part was a blast, the people were great, facility was great!

Going to Uncorked Canvas is everything you’ll read on Unilocal and more! It was so much fun. i can barely draw a stick figure so I was very skeptical that I could do it, but the instructor (Rebekah) was awesome and made it easy to understand and follow along with. Our final paintings were great! I look forward to doing it again!

First time here and it was «AMAZING» had so much fun. The artists were so incredibly helpful. I can not wait to go back. Great time, with great people. Definitely recommend!

Not an artist? No worries. Never picked up a paintbrush before? Not a problem at Uncorked! The guided instruction is well-​paced and the instructors are good-​humored and accommodating. Last night, I joined a dozen other women for a painting party to honor our mutual friend on her 40^th birthday. We had the place to ourselves and were allowed to bring in food and wine, which you know we did (it does wonders for creativity and discovering that hidden talent). Kaitlyn was our guide and just as cute as can be. She helped turn a room full of amateurs into budding Monets with our colorful nature paintings.
Date nights encouraged.

Went here for a girlfriend’s birthday and it was awesome! The instructor was very helpful and also funny! We all had a blast! You get wine half way through the painting and thy have a stash of chips and candy in the back! You can also get h2o, tea, coffee. Absolutely loved this place and we will be coming back. I think I’m going to do the paint your pet night next!

Kaitlyn did a fabulous job instructing and guiding us through our «Brilliant Boulevard» painting! It was SOO much fun and I can’t wait to go back and do another painting! Great sellection of wines and beer to sip on and even some snacks! A++++ and highly recommend for a great night of painting and having lots of FUN!

We went on a double date here with another couple and it was so much fun. My husband and I aren’t very good artists (actually I wish I was a bit more creative) but our painting turned out really nice. The instructors gave step by step instructions and was very helpful throughout the night. The fact that they have date nights and you and your partner paint a left and right side of a picture is awesome. You don’t have to come home with two of the same paintings. I would definitely come back again for, date night or even a GNO.

We had a couples date night here, it was a great choice we all had a fun and it was interesting to see my better half painting a winter barn we WILL for sure be back here.

My friend just hosted her birthday party here and we had SO much fun! I love that you can rent out tiny rooms for parties which is exactly what we did.
I’ve never been good at these painting types of things… but the instructor was much better than others I’ve had in the past and she was really easy to follow. Everyone ended up with really unique but surprisingly decent paintings. For ours, we did a landscape — it looked REALLY complex but was just a lot of fun.
We had lots of snacks and wine to go with our painting session — then a break in between to let our art dry prior to the next layer. No one felt rushed or pressured — it was all around a good time.
That, and it only cost $ 30 which was awesome — this included all of the materials needed.
Parking may be hard to find on a weekend — it’s all street parking. However, I got lucky on a Sunday afternoon and found a spot.

We had our work Christmas party here and it is a wonderful place. The instructor was totally awesome and helped us ever step of the way. The pictures turned out great and it was a lot of fun.

We had our office Christmas Party here at Uncorked and it such a blast, I can’t wait to go back. They allowed us to bring in all our drinks, so we had lots of wine and snacks. Our teacher was super nice, very patient with all us slow learners. We were there for 3 hours and it flew by. We painted on a small canvas board, which we got to take home. I would definitely go back, it would make a great girls night our or date night! Highly recommend!!!

It was Sunday morning when I received a call that the reservation I made almost two months ago for a date night with my wife was canceled due to circumstances out of my control. With a babysitter already reserved and a disappointed wife I turned to the interweb for help. Searched «things to do in Seattle» first. Nothing on a Sunday night appealed to us. Then I search Bellevue, Olympia and finally a last ditch effort Tacoma. Up popped uncorked canvas, no pun intended.
To my surprise they had something going on that night. I called and someone actually answered the phone. Then she informed me the art class was full. I told her my sob story and she said she would talk to the instructor and see if she could fit us in. 20 minutes later she called back and said come on down.
At this point I have to point out that I am color blind. Not completely, I can see most colors I just have a hard time telling shades of colors. So when I sat down I got a little nervous.
Now I want to be honest I enjoyed the experience but to be completely upfront there were too many student for the 2 teachers. But that was my fault for butting into a full class. There was no running water so it was hard to dump and refill your rinse water for the brushes. I felt rushed, again my fault because I picked a harder picture than most of the class. And they only gave us one glass of wine, which I found hard I enjoy because I was always behind.
At the end they let us stay late and smiled the entire time. My painting came out much better than I expected.
So will I go back and do I recommend you go… Yes and yes. Just be realistic on what you plan on accomplishing and bring someone who is good with colors. My wife saved me.

My girlfriend had her birthday party here and we had so much fun. I have done a palettes and painting class one time before near my house and my painting turned out ok. I thought the instructor we had did a much better job teaching and helping everyone with their paintings. She was really nice and helpful. OH I should say that we did the «funky tree» painting.
Side note which was kind of cool, is that for our party we could bring in our own alcohol which is really nice. I definitely would recommend this place.

Arrived with anxiety that was immediately dispelled! The roo was large and inviting, workstations set up with everything you need and a pleasant staff ready for our group! Once under way our teacher Rebecca lead us step by step through the painting! Halfway through we had a break… chips and chocolate if you wanted. Wine and beer served during the class. The end result? My very own masterpiece!

My husband brought me here for my birthday. It was so much fun for both of us! He’s great and drawing I’m not so good, but the instructor made it easy to follow! They give you step by step instructions and are incredibly patient and helpful. And not to mention wine is included! We will be back for sure!

I came here for a birthday party, and it was the best birthday party that I’d ever been too. I draw stick people, I’m not an artist at all, so I was shocked when my painting actually looked like what it was supposed to look like.
The instructor was patient, and really good with all of us.
It was just a perfect night. I will be having my birthday party here, it was just a lot of fun, and awesome to bring the painting that I did myself home!
