Weir’s Appliance

Matt M. and Miles S. delivered our new range yesterday afternnon, and I want Weirs to know that these young men are representing them most positively in the community. . Cheerful, polite, and very efficient.

Excellent product knowledge, as well as amazing customer service really make Weir’s a top-​notch establishment.
I really had a great experience while purchasing a washer and dryer set from there, with special thanks to Patrick and Ben.
All the other appliance shops in the area could really learn a thing about service from the staff at Weir’s. I would certainly do business with them in the future.

I had a great experience purchasing a WOLF gas cooktop at Weirs! We had a Jenn Air cooktop that an appliance repair guy damaged (actually, caused it to explode) and we needed to replace our cooktop in a hurry. I wasn’t planning on buying a new cooktop, but if I had to, I preferred to go high end and get a WOLF. I first shopped Albert Lee, and it was going to take them at least 3 weeks to get a WOLF. Weirs actually had 2 in their warehouse, and I was able to pick it up in 3 days. I ended up having to have our granite cut to accommodate the new cooktop, which I really wanted to avoid, but it ended up only taking a fabricator about an hour and cost $ 100. The staff at Weirs was helpful, and followed through by calling me the day after my purchase to explain WOLF’s simmer and sear functions. Thanks to Weirs for a good experience and a great new cooktop.

Went to Weir’s on Saturday to shop for a new dishwasher. Probably 15 years ago had purchased all our appliances there for a complete kitchen remodel and was happy at that time with the selection and help. So I was not expecting the store to look like it is ready to go out of business. What a dump! All the the sample kitchens seemed mismatched, the appliances had so many finger prints on them, I don’t think they had been cleaned in awhile. Very off putting to be shopping for appliances that look used. It was a complete turn off. Went into look at a specific brand and the sales person right off the bat tried to steer us to another brand that, according to him, was way better. Instead of showing us all the features and taking us around to allow us to come to a conclusion on our own he just came off as a know it all. I actually have had several different brands of dishwashers through the years and know a ittle bit about the features I am looking for, but the sales person didn’t bother to ask me any questions about what I wanted, he just wanted to sell me something. Don’t waste your time here, I know I won’t be.

Very pleased with Weirs in purchasing my microwave a few years back, and now going through the process of buying a new washer & dryer. Great staff, great prices.

I have nothing but good things to say about Weir’s appliance. Their people are helpful and knowledgeable, and based on my research their prices are better than any other store in the area. In fact, my neighbor outfitted his entire house with appliances from Weir’s because, after doing a lot of shopping around, he concluded that no one could meet their prices. Also based on my experience, it seems that they couple with local and knowledgeable technicians to provide solid installation at a reasonable cost.
Finally, as a testament to the customer service at Weir’s… I had a problem with my Bosch dishwasher that I bought from Weir’s. A certified Bosch technician had repaired it three times over the last year. Finally, it came time for Bosch to review my dishwasher as a candidate for replacement (since it appears to be a lemon), but Bosch was balking because I couldn’t find my invoice this time (even though I had provided it on three previous occasions). It seemed apparent that Bosch was looking for an out based on a paperwork technicality. So I called Weir’s and spoke with Lonnie (spell?) who emailed me my invoice within a few minutes, even though I had purchased the unit over a year ago. This epitomizes customer service in my opinion.
I’ll still shop around in the future, but assuming that Weir’s continues to operate on a customer-​centric model, I will definitely keep them at the top of my list when it comes to appliance shopping.

They make promises they can’t meet.
I ordered a washer/​dryer unit. They said 3 weeks, I waited 3 months.
They said it was not in production and it would be a few more weeks.
I went to Sears, it was on their display floor. They delivered one to me the next day.
Weir’s was reluctant to issue a refund. We had to get into a heated discussion before they said they would mail me a check.
It was a week and a few phone calls before the check arrived.
I always try to shop local but in this case Sears was the better place.
