DONOTEATHERE. Food was almost all gone. Online hours were opened till 9pm in Friday. We get there at 8:15pm and are seated we were not told that they closed at 8:30 till another customer came in at 8:30pm and they were told that there was not anymore food being brought out. We stated that online it says open till 9pm. Talked to a manager and she was very nice and did not make us pay. But not cool.

Grand China is your typical Chinese buffet. There’s really not much special to say about it. The exterior is a bit of a turn-off and the interior is not much better despite the fact they expanded just a few years ago. It’s located across the street from the hospital so at least it makes a quick lunch stop if hospital cafeteria food is not your thing.

This was the best Chinese buffet in town… until they opened a great big giant buffet behind Walmart last month! Anyways, I’m a little girl who can’t eat much in one sitting, so I started getting the food to-go instead. When you order the buffet to-go, they give you a carry out container to fill up food and you have to pay by the weight($ 5.15/lb or so). That’s smart because it keeps people from getting carried away and trying to stuff little eggrolls into each little remaining pocket of air. Well, it actually worked in my favor because instead of paying $ 7.50 for a single meal buffet, $ 7.50 worth of to-go food lasted me two meals! Maybe the food I eat isn’t heavy? Also, the lady who owns the place is really nice. They don’t open on Saturdays, but they do open Sunday afternoons for the church crowd.

The best Chinese food in town and the staff is wonderful. If you get a chance then Shirley(the owner) will always talk with you. Try the General Tso’s Chicken or the Wonton Soup. They’re both great.
