A wonderful small theater with a great selection of movies. We are very lucky to have this theater in Tahoe City. It’s a treat to have a place like this to go to for both first run movies and interesting movies with a Tahoe flare and a smattering of classics. I check the listings every time I’m in town and sometimes I plan trips up around their calendar. The theater is very comfortable with fully updating seating and a small selection of sofas in back. They also have a great selection of beers and better food options than your typical theater. The staff is awesome, engaging about the movies and very welcoming. Lets please support this small independent theater!

Looked up movie times on line went to watch a movie and it was closed with a sign out front for different times than on line. So returned for a second time at the sign posted time, only to find out they had the time on the sign wrong too and weren’t showing a movie until an hour later. Really wish it was accurate timing at least in one place

Small place, awesome staff. Hard root beer and kobucha on tap… whaaaaaat!!! Book your tickets on line and they check you in at the door from their penciled name list. Ya, that’s right… someone writes your name on a sheet of paper — no tix. Popcorn is fresh, attitudes are right, no complaints. Come on in, have a beer($ 7), some popcorn($ 5 – 7) and enjoy the show. There are some sofas in back, along with some goodwill Knights of Columbus hall library chairs, but the majority of the seats are comfy leather rocking chair theater seats with cup holders. Theater opens 30 minutes before show, so get there a little early or don’t complain about the dance halls chairs.

This is an awesome little theater. Really laid back Tahoe vibe. Couches in the back make for comfortable viewing. You pay in the front and they just send you back. No ticket. The Kombucha on tap was pricey but delicious. The beer on tap was nice as well. Clean/nice theater. Just awesome vibes all around. Great people and Really pleasant experience.

We are so lucky to have this in our little town. If you ever went to the old Cobblestone Theater you will barely recognize the place! Love their mix of indie films and big box movies. Beer is cheap by Tahoe standards with great microbrews on tap as well as good ol’ PBR. Plus you can bring your own glass for $ 1 off. Arrive early to snag a comfy couch with the best view and small tables. Really hope this place keeps on getting better!

Bring your own beer though they offer great choices. Tucked away in a little mall with a great restaurant to eat at before you jump over to the cinema. The movies are a mixture of art films and blockbusters that run on shirt stints to keep the small screen theater packed with locals and visitors. It’s a great spot bringing dance nights to the locals too! Make sure you visit when in Tahoe City!

What an outstanding upgrade to the old cobblestone cinemas! I was really impressed with the new venue and have nothing but great things to say and hope that the new ownership is successful at reviving this little gem. First, as for the venue, it’s a nice little theater with excellent seating. A combination of traditional theater seating and comfy couches. The screen resolution and picture clarity was awesome. Sound was excellent too. Beer and movies. What more could you ask for.

Another local favorite activity! It’s off season so head on over and check out a movie on their comfy couches. You can also grab a beer or two while you view!

On vacation, and Just took in a movie… This place rocks! Beer on tap ! Longboard, delicious popcorn, but best of all, huge comfy seats. Picture and sound quality as good as any theatre in the Bay Area. And extremely helpful and friendly staff!

Awesome local Art/Cinema place. We were in Tahoe for the week and decided to take in a movie — this place is awesome — Local’s hangout — not only do they have movies, but art shows and performance art — Very comfortable — able to get wine, cider, & beer with your movie if you like. Check it out!

The new owners have completely remodeled the(dump of a) movie theater that previously existed here, and it is so much more an enjoyable experience! First of all, they serve beer(!). I’d heard wine as well but not the night I went. They pop the popcorn in coconut oil instead of whatever cheap, hydrogenated product the other places use. The seats are super comfy now too, and the whole place is much cleaner. There are a few couches up top, but get here early to get those.

This is a fantastic venue. Small. Clean. Friendly people. Beer, wine, and the rest of the normal theater goodies. Very comfy seating — from rocking recliners to couches in the back. First run flicks(Mockingjay part 1 tonight). NOPREVIEWS for a bunch of crap you don’t want to see. The movie start time is the actual movie start time. So don’t be late. About the same ticket price as the big valley cinemas. Purchase online and have them emailed to your phone. Treat yourself just once. You’ll go back.
