This restaurant is a fake. Don’t wast your time. Unilocal needs to take it off. Unilocal want me to write more so I will write till it say it is enough. This is so, sooooo sad. I hear the barista was badly burned, yet despite his extended stay in the burn unit he is happy to take a break from the long lines and downright hostility of tourons trying to cut the line. I think the bouncer was the big winner in this operation, raking in boatloads of cash in «tips». .. but darmn, the espresso was worth it. I hope they rebuild, but rumor has it the barista is planning to morph into master ski waxer for the upcoming El Niño winter. Maybe we’ll see a espresso and wax pop-​up business, who knows?

Felt like I was back in Buenos Area! Got to try the kiwi infused Yerba mate spritzer!
What a gem of a find!

We were stuck without a car in the middle of nowhere in Tahoe Vista. .. An ideal situation except that we didn’t have any coffee! But, we checked Unilocal,and found this little hidden gem just a couple blocks away! Lucky us!
It took us awhile to find it and the door man was tough – if you’re coming make sure to dress the part! But they decided to let us in, and served us a delicious Hawaiian blend dripped to perfection with free freshly baked coconut cookies. The ambiance was sophisticated, bright and open. Lastly, we had a great conversation with our baristas, Brenda & Chris. A five-​star experience. .. if you find the password!

Wow! What a find in the back streets of Tahoe. This appointment-​only-​stop is well worth your time. The variety of beans is appreciated. One time, there was a bean with blueberry essence. The quality is up there with the best of the best. Make my day Café Cladestino!
