Nice guy, and professional dry cleaning. In our experience, which was a suit a week for years, and some minor alterations, they always did good work. Jaime also never needed to be reminded of who we were, and was always open when we went. And he was really clear that he had to send out alterations. Thought i’d give them a good review as a farewell because he’s closed down and I was looking at Unilocal for a new cleaners.

The worst cleaners/alterations I have ever been to. I had two pairs of black jeans that I needed hemmed a few inches. The easiest thing to do, and honestly I would do myself if I had a working sewing machine — but I don’t. I walked in one day, and the employee told me they did do alterations but that they had to send it out to someone. He told me it would take a week — which is long enough but I accepted. During this entire exchange he was not friendly, rude and standoffish. I just continued to be my chipper, friendly self and gave him nothing but a smile. As I was leaving, he asked that I pick up a little over a week, so instead of the original date of Tuesday to come in Wednesday instead. I agreed and walked out. I returned on Wednesday to pick up during store hours. There was a sign on the door stating that they wouldn’t be open until much later in the day. At this point, I had to go to work and so wasn’t able to actually pick up for another couple days. When I went to pick up, the same employee was more pleasant but still rude when I let him know I had come during store hours, and they were closed. He made it seem like the store hours didn’t matter. I picked up my pants, the cost for two jeans were $ 36 — a little steep especially because they did an AWFUL job. The hem was crooked and so thick. It looked like someone was learning how to hem using my brand new black jeans. I was livid. They look extremely sloppy and you can tell they are crooked. I am going to have to have them fixed. I wish I had looked at the reviews before coming in. I do my best to support small businesses in my neighborhood, but this was extremely disappointing. Don’t come here for alterations, unless you want your item RUINED!

We were excited to try a conveniently located cleaners. Worst experience at a dry cleaners. Hours advertised seem to be a mere suggestion. Took several days for them to find the clothes we had dropped off AND be open during the hours on the door. Will never go back. Terrible way to run a business.

Don’t waste your time. Hours don’t seem to matter and the person in the front had to have write out my own ticket(pretty simple name) because they couldn’t get it. I personally don’t have time to make multiple stops to rescue my clothes. Won’t ever go back.

They shrunk and deformed my sweater. The only way clothes shrink is through the use of moisture, which is anathema in proper dry cleaning. This item was returned to me both stretched out where it should not have been, and several inches(yes, INCHES) shorter than when it was dropped off. My husband brings his shirts here to be laundered and pressed, and they have been returned stained. Despite the convenience of the the location, I will have to find a new cleaner.

I have been bringing shirts, suits, and pants to this place for about 15 years and am very satisfied with their service. Especially if you become a regular customer, the front counter guy Jaime will really go the extra mile to take care of you — and he has an incredible memory for each item of clothes and any special issue(e.g., a stain you’ve pointed out or cuffs you need pressed a certain way). This is a solid and hard-working neighborhood business and if you live in Takoma Park MD or Takoma neighborhood of DC it’s an excellent choice for laundry and dry cleaning.

The price is great but you get what you pay for here. My husband’s shirt and pants came back fine but my two skirts came back shrunk so much that I can no longer even get them on. One was also missing a belt that I am 100% certain was attached when I dropped it off. My once worn $ 70 sweater was also ruined, coming back about 6 inches longer than it was when I dropped it off. After reading the previous review I didn’t even bother to go in and ask about it. I give this place another vote for the«worst dry cleaner ever.»

I previously wrote this place a nice review. However, they have fallen in my estimation to earn the title of «WORSTDRYCLEANERSEVER» I brought in a white very expensive blazer. This place returned it to me with new stains and broken elastic waist. When I went back to ask about it, the guy very rudely said that the cleaners can’t be held responsible for ruined items. When I asked if they had a policy to reimburse, he said he didn’t want to fill out the paperwork. I’ve never had clothing ruined before by a dry cleaning place before. Do not go here.

I’m a fan. I took 18 shirts and two men’s suits and came out for a little over 30 bucks. Nothing was damaged, everything looked great. They even were able to turn these around in about a day. The people are very nice and didn’t even give me dirty looks while I insisted on counting every shirt. Definitely going back.
