John was very nice kinda hot and dark in the shop but i stop pass for a quick polish change

I’ve had pretty decent (not awesome, but decent) service here in the past. But after the experience I had today, I will NEVER return there. So it’s Sunday, and the salon closes at 6pm Sundays. I was just getting off work and I arrived there around 5:30, I believe. A guy working there asked me what I wanted and I said a manicure. They were busy and so I and a few people waited. Ok no big deal, I was in no rush. I didn’t mind. Then my turn finally came. This lady started working on my nails. She told me after working on them to wash my hands, and I asked her if she was going to put on the acrylic nails, because that’s what I wanted. She look surprised and said «Oh you want a full set? It’s late, I can’t do that. You said you wanted a manicure!» I didn’t know there was a difference, I’m still pretty much a nail salon newbie. Then other employees chimed in, and the guy from earlier said «you said you wanted a manicure, now you said full set!» With an attitude! It was embarrassing. Yes I goofed but why are they being rude and making my business known to everyone in the salon? Everyone was staring at me! I was furious! If I wanted to just paint my nails, I could do that myself! And being rude was uncalled for. I did not pay and walked out. I can’t believe they refused to work on what I wanted after I waited that long! I understand I messed up, but good grief! Never again! Do not go there unless you like receiving crappy service!!! Unbelievable!

Theses mother fuckers are racist and rip off. I went to do my nails, the stupid manager did my nail rushing, when I went home I realize the nails was big and tick, when I went back to her the next day she tells me I have to pay extra money for her to fix her own mess.
When I called the police they gave me a number to call and take her to court. So I ended up with fucked up nail that I paid $ 45 for.
Don’t go there, they rush on your nails, and they are rude
I though when you pay your money for a service, u have to be satisfied

Not only do they lack proper customer service skills in there the manager Sam couldn’t even have the courtesy to repair the terrible job her technician Yamiley did and I advise you with all honest DO NOT GO THERE and waste your precious time and money. I am so disgusted with the service I received there I guarantee they won’t last long.

The service here is great and prices are unbeatable! I’ve been a customer here for about over a year now. Everyone is so nice and welcoming! I always get acrylics, pedi and lip wax done. They are a little short on color selection but it is the only bad thing I could ever say. They are always clean and they take you in quick unless it’s Thurs-​Sat because it is their busiest days! They always take their time evening out your nails and getting the designs done! I’m never disappointed! Love you guys! Unfortunately due to a new job I am no longer allowed to have acrylics but will always return for other services! Highly recommend this place!

Came to ENVY for the 20.00 mani/​pedi weekday special. Asked for Wafa due to the other review on here. She was extremely nice, personable and good vibed. As a person I loved her. As far as the mani/​pedi, I would say it was mediocre. She did not really spend much time cleaning the nails (removing cuticles and making sure sides were cleaned out) She was very gentle. I paid 5bucks extra for a design, she stated she only knew how to do 1 and if I didnt like it, she would take it off. I asked for cherry blossom like flowers but she did not know how to do that. I actually really liked the design she did do and I kept it. Very cute! I will post pics. The pedi lasted some time but the same nail polish (provided by Envy-​some cheap brand Ive never heard of) was applied for my mani and only lasted ONE DAY! I washed my hands the next day and it was chipping! She told me that the nail polish brand actually is good and lasts a while but it did not on my hands. There was also a little spot on one of my nails that I asked her if she could fix, thinking that she would take the polish off and reapply or apply another layer-​however she just put a dot of the nailpolish on the spot and then it looked more ghetto cuz there was a blob spot there. Oh well. Overall I loved Wafa and loved the pedicure (with the exception of the cleaning underneath) I felt though as they used already used equiptment that was not cleaned. Sorry to say my Thumb got an infection (still going on) the very next day and its been weeks now and it still hurts so much. i was not thrilled about the mani but I would give them a second shot for the price. Ended up paying about 30 with tip which does not end up being that good of a deal since the mani lasted a
was like paying 30 for the pedi.

This nail salon is unprofessional everyone in this Salon is always on their phone I went one time with my friend and the women that did her nails was on the phone giving a math problem. Even the Asian owner her name is Sam she doesn’t tell her employee not to talk on the phone when they have a costumer beause that is very rude. All they want is your money the whole shop is just rude trust me don’t go here.

She had no idea what she was doing and was playing on her phone while doing my nails. They need to teach their trainees the difference between the nail bed and the cuticle because she kept pulling and by the time I said ow it was bleeding. She had a nasty attitude about giving me some alcohol to wipe my wound. I doubt she was licensed to do nails. And she got really nasty when I started taking pics of my toe.
I didn’t want to curse because they had all their random children in the shop as they were working but I was so angry! Me and my two friends ran out of that shop! It was dirty and they have a mish mash of all these different cheap polishes for people to chose from. I’m from NYC here we have Essie and OPI not Ossie and QRS. If I wanted my nails painted with Wet n Wild wouldn’t I just do that myself? I couldn’t believe it! She looked at me like she was mad at me when she cut me in between getting her Farmville farm together.
I know Envy is a chain because they have locations here but I bet they don’t keep it so nasty and unregulated here. The one in Maryland outside of DC is in a poor neighborhood so they just think it’s ok to treat people like crap. Just don’t and I am really going to need Unilocal to come up with a negative star option soon because this place deserves a negative 300 000 star rating.

If you go to envy .and you ur want mini or bidi ask for wafa. she is so freindly and she do a exelent job. suck she dont do full set :/
