Some of the best margaritas in the valley. Most of the time when I go to this restaurant, it’s to sit in the sun on their porch and drink margaritas. The food is ok. A little runny for my taste, but still worth the trip if you’re looking for good margaritas.

I ate at inti for the first time this evening and found it to be fantastic all around. The food was very flavorful, fresh and served quickly! We ordered tacos, which were paired with a generous helping of beans, rice and cabbage. We can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

In terms of the options available here in talent, this place is our saving grace. Good food, great prices, tasty margaritas and nice staff. I am surprised to see a lot of people on here leaving really bad reviews. Me and my wife have gone here maybe 10 times and never once had a bad experience.

This was my first visit to Inti, and it will probably be my last. I was really excited about this place. Heard several positive reviews, and I was really hopeful. For some reason, I expected the food to be flavorful, fresh, hopefully organic, local-centric, artisanal and tasty. But it was bland, dead, not fresh, definitely not organic, nothing creative and mostly unpleasant. The people who own this place need to go to Mexico and experience real Mexican food. Or they could just visit La Tapatia in Phoenix to learn about real Mexican food. Because as it is, this isn’t mexican food, it’s just bland, sad food. Even though the menu looks intriguing, I’m pretty sure it’s not worth it to go return and be disappointed again. Honestly the best thing going for this place is the ambiance and the art on the walls. Whoever owns this place really needs to step it up, find a new(talented /brilliant) chef, new recipes, get lots of fresh local organic food in and make a concerted effort to bring amazing food into this joint… otherwise it’s going down…

I ordered tonight’s special: spinach, mushroom enchilada with rice and beans. The beans were not refried – yea! This was the blandest mexican food I have ever eaten. About the only flavor that punched through was the sour cream. A perfect place for those who cannot stomach peppery food but want the«Mexican» experience. The service was slow; we waited forever for our check and there were few customers.

Homemade tacos, tostadas, and burritos available with vegan filling of tofu, mushrooms and onions, in a mild red sauce. I would add their cabbage slaw to the burrito for some crunch. The outdoor patio is serenaded by birds, rather than the Mexican soundtrack inside. The service is polite and quick. We’ll be back. It’s worth the trip from Ashland.

My 3rd visit now, and sadly each time my rating goes down. The chicken tortilla soup was very bland and tasteless. I had to add lots of salt, which I virtually never do. It tasted like they used a water broth rather than a chicken broth. It also appeared that they used canned chicken, as opposed to cooking a chicken from scratch. The chicken enchiladas seemed to use this same canned chicken and the tortillas used to wrap the chicken were not baked. In other words, it appears they had the enchilada fillings pre-made, put them in a tortilla, put verde sauce on them and served them. Very unconventional, and for a reason; it lacked flavor. Not terrible, but certainly not high quality.

There is no excuse for people giving this place higher than two stars. I am sorry to have to be the truth-teller here, but seriously. The food is about as bland as bland gets, the waitstaff are totally indifferent to customers, and the only good thing about the place is the nice outdoor patio seating. Since I don’t drink alcohol I can’t comment on their bar or night life, which may be their only saving grace. But I have eaten there three times, each time hoping I was wrong about the previous time, only to find consistently dull, dreary food. I WANT this to be a great place, but it just isn’t. :(

Wonderful food, equally wonderful service. This is not«Mexican» food, but Latin soul food. The atmosphere us very nice and the staff are great. The owner came by the table to make sure everything was okay and chewed the fat with us for a while; very welcoming.

Anytime I am in Talent and hungry this is the first place that comes to mind… I find the flavors tantalizing. The have a list of meat and veggie fillings that can be applied to tacos, burritos, and tostadas, and the ones I have tried are delicious. Also, most everything here is amazingly priced for the quality.

Finally got to Inti after hearing many good things. Really, really good. Fabulous sauces on the meats. Nice patio. Full bar. Well worth the trip out of Ashland. Will be back to explore more of the menu.

The perfect summer evening ends sitting on the Inti Restaurant patio in Talent, OR, two camarones tacos on the way and a «better» margarita in my hand… Inti hangs out in my top 3 restaurants in the Rogue Valley –try any of their margaritas, the«good,» «better,» or «best» all come served in glass jelly jars with good sea salt rims. The menu can’t be called big, but I find it more than ample. A few main dishes and frequently altered specials are supplemented by the taco/burrito choices –you pick the ingredients and whether you want it as 1 or 2 tacos or a burrito. Excellent idea. The tacos, by the way, come on what tastes like a fresh-made tortilla. I haven’t verified if they make them there, though. The service is friendly, and the town is small, but cute! Check out the art gallery next door… Oh, important to note that they observe siesta so are open from 11:30−2 and from 5 – 8(5 – 9 starting in mid-June). Closed on Sundays.

Wow, this place was a disappointment. Based on the other Unilocal reviews, I’m not sure what to think, but it’s definitely not worth another visit. Tortilla chips, bad salsa. There were two salsas — hot and mild. The mild was thin and soupy, with very little flavor. The hot was thicker, had a smoked pepper flavor, but wasn’t hot. Horchata — the highlight of the meal. Serviceable, but nothing to write home about. Torta — I ordered the steak torta. The sauce from the steak created a puddle on the plate, making the bottom half a soggy mess. The steak wasn’t shredded sufficiently, so biting into it as a sandwich wasn’t possible. The bun was all wrong. But ultimately, it was the taste that was the most lacking. The beef had very little flavor, and the other ingredients didn’t pull the torta together. It didn’t hold a candle to the tortas I get from the taco truck that comes to my workplace on Thursdays. Note: a torta and a sandwich are not the same thing. Tostada — My wife had the pork verde. She compared the dish to something her Taco Bell-loving mother would have made. Once again, the pork had no depth of flavor, and the salad of ingredients on top — iceberg lettuce, «mexican» cheese, and bland black beans detracted rather than added to the taste. Que malo!

I couldn’t help wanting to go to this quaint little talent latin food meca. One word«incredible» wouldn’t say enough. I’ve been back twice and can’t wait to get some real authentic food there again. Our service was extraordinarily warm and knowledgeable. You can truly tell the care and expertise put into everything by the owners and chef when you get a fresh handmade tortilla in Talent. Imagine getting served«wonderbread» tortillas like every other place in town. Not here!!! You have to try the«chupacabra» tacos, braised chipotle lamb, yummy! The salsas are great and drinks are fat too… Great Job Guys. See you soon.

If you’re travelling to Southern Oregon, maybe hanging out in Ashland for some plays, definitely drive the extra couple miles to the little town of Talent and visit this great restuarant. Inventive, simple and fabulous Mexican food. No run of the mill mexican plates but a variety of meats cooked with lots of delicious sauces. Very cheap for the quality of food. I make sure I visit this place every time I’m up there. The owner and staff are down to earth, friendly and ready to make your meal the best ever. Have I said enough good things about this place. Check it out!
