don’t expect anything like goodwill quality, prices are justified for rare, unique items. records jewelry shoes purses men’s and women’s clothes pins patches. really fun to look through even if you can’t purchase then. located on Gaines beside other local stores, tattoo parlor, and bars.

Great selection of vintage clothes and accessories for women! The record collection is pretty sweet, you can find some stuff here that you can’t find anywhere else. Also the huge selection of hand-made jewelry is to die for. The owner is also very sweet!

Small but fun store on the revitalizing Gaines Street.
The staff is very friendly and happy to help you. The store has a lot of costume jewelry and vintage women’s clothing.
They also sell vinyl records with a good selection of artists (but on the pricey side). Though it was a bit incongruous to me at first, next to the records Avant-Garb has a large rack devoted to classic issues of Playboy, so get excited dirty-mag collectors!
All-in-all a neat store, particularly if you are a woman looking for some particular unique item to accessorize with.

Coming from a family business that specialized in vintage, I can be a bit critical when I walk into a vintage or antique shop. This place takes the cake!
The owners are very cool people and they offer a great selection of clothes, knick knacks, jewelry, shoes and RECORDS! I collect vinyl and this place has a wonderful selection that changes daily.
And I know, vintage can be pricey… but think of what you’re getting and from WHEN! No one else will that that funky item and you’ll own a piece of history.
I’m happy to see another successful business in the Gaines St/Railroad Square area. Please support our local businesses, it supports our local economies and your neighbors! :D

Pretty pricey but I’ve found some really great jewelery from here, amongst other things. I’m not crazy about the clothes selection but everything else she has here is great
