This Circle K is just fine. I’ve gassed up here and even entered to get stuff. That’s nice and all, but let’s talk about this Circle K’s ACTUAL claim to fame — which is that it is located adjacent to the once vibrant and thriving Vinyl Fever — before it moved to the corner of White & Pensacola — before it closed for good on Valentine’s Day, 2010. If I thought it’d help revive this Tallahassee legend, I’d create a Unilocal business page for it. Alas, it won’t. But — just as some of the tchotchke’s for Jim Morrisson’s grave in Pere Lachaise spill over to the neighboring plots, perhaps some of your own fond memories of Vinyl Fever can spill over here into the Circle K page. Seriously. I don’t think anyone from Circle K is going to mind. The ONE review(before this) was from back in 2010 from a Unilocaler who’s now in Ft. Lauderdale. I’m guessing she won’t mind either(‘sides, she gave it a 3-star). Yes — I’m taking liberties with the spirit of Unilocal.I accept that. But… — this WAS Vinyl Fever.

As far as quick stops go… this is probably my stop of choice. It is easily accessible and is on the way to and from pretty much everywhere I go. It doesn’t hurt that there is a Redbox right outside that I take advantage of about once a week. I usually stop in to get some Red bulls and gas. The workers are always friendly and the store is kept clean. I have even used their bathroom… SHOCKER and it wasn’t nearly as bad as any other gas station. The manager is usually in during the day and is very nice and helpful. Who has heard of a gas station trying to up sell?! Every time I buy something even if it is just a drink… «Can we get you anything else? Maybe a case of beer?» Either they look at me and think I am an alcoholic or they have seen me buy alcohol one too many times. But hey, it can never hurt. Definitely one of the best places for a gas station in Tallahassee PS. there are usually cops here on the weekends and at night. Safe, and proactive! how nice. ha ha
