Cucinella’s Bread Shoppe And Cafe

Besides the fact that I love supporting local businesses they have awesome food here!
This was the second time that me and the ladies from the office picked up the lunch special, which today it was stuffed eggplant Parmesan with cheese and spinach… yum!!! It also came with a biscuit.
Steve is usually there when we go and he’s a very down to earth and friendly person. The lunch specials change daily so I would suggest calling to see what’s on for the day and to make sure that he has some left as some of his specials can go pretty fast.

We were excited to attend the Friday Feast that started with the lightest cheese filled rye bread, a mixed salad with excellent olives, feta cheese and vegetables, along with the tastiest calzones within at least a 2 hour drive. The atmosphere is simple and almost cheap but for the quaint feel given to a restaurant that also offers live band music.
Both the chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese and the meat lasagna were light and nicely seasoned. The red sauce on the lasagna was sweet but not overpowering. The fish was fresh, flaky and delicious with Italian seasoning.
Bottom line: for the price you couldn’t find a hearty lasagna meal like this, let alone an exceptional buffet as here, unless you went to Atlanta or Jacksonville.
