Best all around for FSU gear and newest novelty items… This place is huge so plan to spend a lot of time here

The FSU bookstore is located in the heart of FSU campus under the best parking garage on campus, woodward. They have parking above for students with parking stickers, teachers across the street, and for visitors… ugh, idk lol, use the valet across the street?
This place is clean, organized, and the people who work their are student so they are understanding.
Fashion– You can get everything from Men, women, children, baby, pets clothing from hats to shirts to shorts and pants and sweats to even sandals and shoes. The brands vary from cheaper quality like champion to nike, from crocs to toms for shoes, to columbia and southern tide to guy harvey. They have sales constantly also going on randomly in sections. You can also get interior décor items like big bowls and serving plates to wall décor. Girls can get their hello kitty, lilly pulitzer and kate spade fix. (Though truthfully, you can get better deals at gold and garnet store in the mall).
Computers– They have a computer section so you can buy a brand new apple laptop. And if you need any wires/​chords they have the basics.
Textbooks– Great place to buy and sell back but you can truthfully get better deals online (only really freshman or people without cars get their books here – and of course there is the exception when a teacher writes his own book and you can only get it here). If you do buy your textbooks here get them fast, they sell out fast (they don’t always fully stock enough for all students), and there are long lines always.
Students– they have other dorm random stuff (but you can get that cheaper at target), snacks and drinks (but seriously, there is a chick fill a and a dunkin donuts on campus lol, your probably eating that instead), and umbrellas when you forget yours at home.
Alumni/​Grads– they have clothes for alumni, frames for your diploma, class/​school rings, etc.
Overall the FSU bookstore is a great place to get all your necessities though expect to pay full price for clothes (well, most of it lol) and textbooks. If you want to save money, you might have to go online for textbooks or to gold and garnet for clothes.

As an Alumni of FSU, I think I haev a pretty good grasp of the bookstore. If you don’t want to be standing in line for a full hour, please go buy your books the week before school starts. If you are trying to wait until class time to see if you actually NEED the book, then be prepared to bring snacks for your time in line.
The book store staff is actually really helpful and they will show you right to where your books are and walk you around. They hire extra staff when the semester has started for this exact reason. It’s awesome. They let you rent books in here as well which is useful, expecially hen your book normally costs about $ 200.
Besides books the computer store is now located in here, they’re helpful, but your computer could be trapped in there for like 2 weeks so be sure to have a back up way to do your homework.
As for the selection of clothes and souvineers, they have a huge selection, so when you get stuck on what to buy your dad for fathers day or something you can pop in there and buy him an FSU cap or something like that.
Overall a good book store that has what you’re looking for or will at least order it for you in a more or less timely manner.

Last day in town and daughter was stressed because she did not have time to go get her textbooks. To busy with other commitments with sorority so she asked us to go get them because classes start on Monday and she already had some assignments to do.
So we ventured off to the FSU bookstore, and got online and pulled her courses to find her books. This semester she needed 14 total. Oh my head was spinning, so many to find and did not know how the system worked.
Everyone in the store was so helpful and found everything we needed. One book was out of stock, they placed the order and will call when it comes in (3 to 5 days) What a delight to have such professional, friendly, knowledgable service from the staff who are all excellent.
What could have been a long drug out drama scene trying to find all the books was diminished by a staff who was helpful and understanding of the fact that we were just parents doing the best we could. They made our shopping trip a delightful, non stressed adventure that saved us money on certain books that we could purchase used and a few were able to rent.
What service!!!
Best experience in such an organized, clean, friendly proud bookstore on campus.
