JS Hair Lounge

The ladies at JS are great at creating a warm environment and providing exceptional services. I see Brittany C. for my brazilians, and she is very sweet, thorough, and informative. For my color and cuts I see Rachel, who is also super talented and a great friend of mine. I recommend them both every chance I get.

The ladies here are amazing. I have receive services from Brittany, Rachel, and Kristin. Brit for the wax and Kristin for mani pedi. Everyone is welcoming and nice and very professional. The décor is simple and warm and the place is always clean when I come in. They continue to provide excellent services that keep me coming back as a customer!

Jana always does an amazing job cutting and styling my hair. She is professional, talent, and is receptive to my concerns when discussing various cuts. Also, I was impressed that layers are done by scissors rather than those «razors» that cause split ends — definitely added bonus points for that!

I think that’s awesome that they have so many great reviews. This is the 5^th time I’ve called for an appointment and have been turned down. I hope they don’t offer walk in services. I’ve called and even tried to make appointments days in advanced. I bought the groupon a month ago. Having recently moved out here I decided to buy it and try them out. At this point they are not worth the wait and I’ll be returning the groupon.

I’ve been to JS hair lounge twice. Both times I’ve had Stephanie Chase as my hair stylist, and she’s wonderful! The first time I was in a hurry, and was only able to get a wash and cut. (I felt bad that I was there about 30 minutes before closing, so I didn’t get my hair blow-​dried.)
Today however, I got to do something new with Stephanie! I received a coupon in my email, so I decided to go back again. I’ve never had my hair dyed, so we decided to go with some baby-​lights. Nothing too crazy, but she made my salon experience awesome! She’s so easy to talk to and I absolutely love my new look.
Definitely give JS hair salon a try, and if you can get Stephanie to do your hair!

This review is for Teri who works in the nail bar. I went to JS Hair Lounge after I purchased a Groupon online. I had a great experience there. Teri, who did my mani/​pedi was super friendly, and took great care in making sure my nails looked perfect! She noticed when I wasn’t sure about my nail colors before hand. «You’re changing your mind, right?» I never felt rushed, I felt extremely relaxed. I would definitely go back!

I went here two weeks ago for a manicure and pedicure. I purchased the deal on group on. The salon was wonderful. They greeted me when I walked in and offered me a beverage while I waited for my nail technician. I waited at most 5 minutes and had fun trying on different nail colors with one of the lovely female workers. Brittany did my manicure and pedicure. She is very talented. The spa pedicure was a true spa pedicure involving fabulous lotions and a great foot massage. I also got the shellac manicure and she even free handed a beautiful design. Definitely a wonderful experience and I will be going back very soon!

I went to JS Hair Lounge because they had a $ 35 group on for mani/​pedi, which seemed like a good deal, but it was not. Paid $ 15 extra for shellac but they hardly had any colors to choose from. I had to make an appointment, because they are so ‘booked,’ got there on time and ended up waiting 15 – 20 minutes while the girl floated around the salon, cleaned and set up for me. What is the point of making an appointment if you cannot keep it? The girl doing my nails were inexperienced, could not even paint the nails right. She kept missing spots on my nails or got the polish on my finger and tried to file it off with a nail file! weird! This 3 hour mani/​pedi ended up costing $ 55 and my nails look awful! The way she painted them looks like I already need a touch up! Which I pointed out to the girl several times, and she ‘fixed’ it, so imagine what it looked like before. I don’t want my bad experience reflecting on the rest of the salon staff, but I am definitely not going there again.

The best place to get your style updated, when you leave you feel glamorous! Friendly staff with southern hospitality and charm. I won’t go anywhere else. The stylists are always up-​to-​date on the latest trends and techniques.
