I can’t say enough good about this place. I love the coffee, I love the names(tallychino), I love the atmosphere, I love dogs outside and I love there merchandise. The price is good and the coffee is strong. A must when I visit this city.

The growler of cold brew coffee has saved my wallet and my life at least four times this week. I got the hazelnut flavored, and it’s so drinkable that I don’t need creamer. I’d dare not taint it with sweetener.

I absolutely love their coffees and speciality drinks! I was so excited to see the new(more convenient) location on North Monroe! Only thing holding me back from a 5 star is how UTTERLYCONFUSING the menu is. The first few times I went I felt like a total moron ordering. I think I have the hang of it now… THINK.

I am excited to see Lucky Goat continue to expand in Tallahassee. I remember when you could only order their coffee through other coffee shops and now they are in a new location, opening a second. The space is nice, plenty of area to meet and chat with people, tables and chairs to work from during the day. The coffee continues to be good. There were some small errors with my order, but nothing to ruin the experience. I tried the apple crumble bar– and it was fantastic, much better than I expected. I will continue to come back and further flesh out my opinion of the service. Also– if I was hosting a breakfast, I would definitely order a growler full of the cold brew. That is a neat concept that I am looking forward to trying out in the future.

Great shop. Great coffee. Great staff. 5 stars! Lucky Goat brews some awesome coffee. I usually stick to cold brew in the summer, so that is all I have tried, but it has been exceptional every time. They have tons of options if you are looking for some more variety. I can only imagine that they are all just as great. The shop is a great place to get some work done or meet up with someone. I have spent quite a few hours here this summer, sipping my cold brew and hitting the books. If you’re not one to hangout in coffee shops but you’re still obsessed with this coffee, you can get your growler filled up to take home! When it’s closer to home I’ll go everyday(hint!).

Amazing coffee, great atmosphere, and a beautiful interior all make this a great shop to pick up a coffee and sit a while. Plus they have oodles of coffee bean, flavor, and roast options so make sure to pick up a bag of coffee for home as well. P. S. Lucky Goat coffee makes a unique gift for coffee lovers.

This place is so cute. Whenever I go I feel like I’m no longer in Tally but instead back in Miami or in a cute coffee shop in San Francisco. The coffee here is legit, service is great, and prices are reasonable in true Tally fashion. I love the lattes here but they also seem to have some great looking baked goods(which I haven’t tried). Love the woodsy décor. Very homey and inviting for a cup of Joe.

I would drive hundreds of miles for Lucky Goat if I had to! Oh yeah, I do! This is the best coffee in Florida, for sure! And I love that I can get a growler to make myself a glass of iced coffee that tastes awesome when I’m hours away! It is heavenly! Then…today happened. I was hungry-not just thirsty. I ordered goat cheese and tomato quiche. I’m hooked. I can drive here for breakfast, you guys! Now, C’mon!!! Stop being so Darn good at everything!!! Either that, or please move to Tampa!!!

I love the atmosphere. Free WIFI(just ask for the password). Quality drinks, quiche and baked goods from Treva’s(awesome Patisserie in Tallahassee). They have a wide selection of brewing supplies, some I’m not familiar with, and others I use at home, like Chemex & Aeropress. I usually order expresso drinks, they are always great with beautiful foam artwork. The dining area is unique as it has a very large communal table in the center for sipping your brew(think large farm table/diningroom table). It’s stylish, yet classic. Shop Local.

You can’t go wrong here, and I hold all other coffees to the Lucky Goat standard. While they have been around for a few years few knew they existed less than a quarter mile north on the same exact road! This all changed when they moved to the current location and opened a wonderfully decorated, cool place to hang out. The coffee is always superb, and the staff is nice. If you’re like me and don’t(didn’t) have much experience with coffee spend some time talking to Evan. He has a real passion for coffee beans and brewing – I think of him as a coffee scientist. I buy their beans to brew at home, and I stop in most days to buy brewed coffee. These people are doing it right!

I could not be angrier that I live on the opposite side of town! Lucky Goat is everything that you could ever want in a coffee shop. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee is cheap and tastes like black gold, and the staff is happy to teach you something new about your favorite drink! The Goat bomb is an absolutely must-try. Seriously, I didn’t know a cup of coffee could go down that smooth. Though it is so far away from my apartment, its call will only continue to get stronger until you can’t resist any longer. Lucky Goat, you are truly my favorite cup of coffee in Tallahasee!

Relaxed, clean, great service but more importantly. Great coffee! Their product line is pretty cool and has multiple coffee makers for you to choose from. Tempted on the hat… Next time LG! Always a pleasure whenever I’m in Tallahassee!

I love the concept, love the café, and most importantly, love the coffee. Lucky Goat really cares about the quality of the coffee that they serve, and it shows in the lengths to which they go in order to brew a single cup. If you order a hot cup of house coffee, don’t expect it to be handed to you immediately because it’s already hot in a giant carafe(like they do at some *other* coffee shops) — each cup is individually brewed with a Chemex brewer, assuring that each cup of coffee reaches its maximum flavor potential. Also, their cold brew coffee is incredible — strong, bold, and will definitely give you the extra uumph you need to get through the rest of the day. Lucky Goat knows exactly where their beans come from, and they know how to roast ‘em. Huehuetenango, represent!

Tallahassee has a ton of great coffee shops, but Lucky Goat might have captured the #1 spot on my list. They are true coffee artisans. The iced coffee is on a nitro tap, which gives it a creamy smooth feel without needing to add any milk. They are highly knowledgable about coffee, and roast their beans in house. Besides being undeniably delicious, Lucky Goat Coffee offers a lot of options to satisfy your daily coffee needs. You can wholesale purchase their iced coffee straight from the tap with their growler system. They also offer a coffee concentrate for purchase in the same way, which a lot of bars and restaurants use in town in drinks and baked goods.

For great tasting coffee with excellent service, Lucky Goat Coffee easily wins the Tallahassee coffee game. They are roasting the good stuff in the back for their distribution business. Up front, the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. This is great tasting coffee served by people who know the product. In the confection case, they ares serving baked goods from The Cake Shop. Try to resist — it all looks delicious and tastes as good as it looks. The coffee is the real star here. Have a custom roast espresso or two and kick back on a comfy seat. Sunlight streams in through the large windows. The location is not busy Midtown or even an urban lake, but the scent of the superlative coffee and comfy interior compensates for the lack of atmospheric location. On your way out, grab a bag of a custom roast to take home or to give as a gift to a loved one this holiday season. Lucky Goat Coffee is one gift that your relatives won’t try to exchange!

Been twice now — once for a takeout coffee and once to sit in and enjoy some baked goods(a quiche!) and a coffee. Both times, the service and products served have been second to none. Wish I lived closer though not being closer make visits a bit more exciting!

Totally ruined. No other coffee compares in Tally. If you dine around Tally, you may have already had their coffee. Bada Bean, Merv’s and even Madison Social feature their brew. Inexpensive and delicious with a great atmosphere. Location just off Capital Circle is beautiful and modern with ample seating for studying or meeting. Cold brew ran me $ 3 and a Tallycino, which is a must, was $ 3.50. Plenty of beans to choose from to bring home and they offer all the dairy/non-dairy options you need. CLOSEDSUNDAY!

A good friend of mine has worked here for years, so I’ve known about Lucky Goat for some time now but — I must confess — I’ve never gone out of my way to give it a try. That was my mistake and I regret wasting away these prime coffee drinking years on the likes of gas stations, national brands, and the like. Truth is, I always assumed they focused on whole-sale exclusively. While Wholesale IS(I suspect) the bread & butter of the operation, Lucky Goat is very much focused on providing the coffee lovers in the community with a Nirvanaesque coffee experience. Sure, I’ve frequented local coffee shops in TLH(in fact, when I visited Lucky Goat today, I was wearing a Craig’s Killer Coffee shirt), but I didn’t realize how good it would be to enjoy a cup here. First of all, I was struck by the expertise in the subject by both guys behind the counter. I’ve been a Bustelo drinker ever since we returned to the U.S. in 1982.(I’m not sure what we bought when we lived in Germany or Spain — but I figure it was about the same). Furthermore, I’m accustomed to a Moka pot. Ben(who I know to be the proprietor of Lucky Goat — and one of the two guys behind the counter) explained to me the challenges of duplicating what I was accustomed to. When I told him I was ready to upgrade from what I’d known for the past 30+ years, he set me up with the Black Gold French Roast, ground coarser than Turkish yet finer than espresso. When I brewed a pot at home — it was perfect so(by way of this Unilocal review, Ben, Thanks!). The atmosphere is pure coffee shop, with more lighting than some of the broodier joints around these days. I do enjoy a clean & well-lit place. I did notice there were pastries available, although I was really just here to indulge in the coffee and as other reviewers have noted, it is quite good. Lucky Goat, furthermore, is conveniently located near where I live. It’ll only require that I drive past two coffee shops that I formerly frequented in order to enjoy this TLH pearl. If you’re a coffee lover, or simply enjoy the coffee culture itself, then it’s very likely you already have your coffee corner in TLH(and, it’s very likely they source their roasted beans from here). For you folks, definitely stay loyal to your places. I would encourage, however, a once-in-a-while visit here. If six stars were available, then six would be bestowed.

In my previous review, I expressed my curiosity in watching Lucky Goat grow in the community. Lo and behold, in merely a matter of weeks I’m updating my previous review to the highest accolades Unilocal offers. Can I get a drumroll please?(drumroll sounds) Five stars to Lucky Goat and the BESTICEDCOFFEEINTALLAHASSEE. Their cold nitro brew comes directly from the tap. They even serve it in a fitting pint glass. After consuming, you’ll never want to have another cup from those chain coffee monopolies ever again. This is a true work of art. And damn, it goes down smooth. After being privileged enough to attend their grand opening, I only have the highest praise for the master coffee roasters. Ask the baristas for their expertise, because they are as knowledgeable as they come. I’m even updating this review from Lucky Goat as I type! The word is out. Lucky Goat now has patrons coming in and out or occupying their wonderful spacious environment at all times. The coffee bar vibe excels on every level. This is the finest craft coffee Tallahassee has to offer. And if you can’t already tell, I can’t get enough it.

I wish they had moved closer to campus, but hopefully one day they’ll branch out closer! The baristas are a sweet and silly bunch. I’ve tried something different every single time and enjoyed each drink immensely, as has my boyfriend. As for the actual place itself, it’s a great place to study and get focused. I’m a huge fan of the décor as well. Please extend your hours! Pretty please!
