Painting with a Twist

My daughter and I met in Tallahassee for a girls weekend and attended a class here and had a blast. It was the high point in our weekend. I love how positive the instructors are. Very relaxing and with the money. We will definitely come back next time we are in Tallahassee.

I gave my husband a party there and the great thing about it it became a private event so we had the whole studio to ourselves. Yes people they allow private events no matter the occasion. We were allowed to bring in our own food and alcohol beverages. Laura was our host and she was awesome. We listened to music as we paint. They offer painting class through out the week and for private parties you get choose your painting from over 3000+ paintings. I would highly recommend painting with a twist I really enjoyed myself and so did my husband.

After hearing excellent things from friends who’ve been there, I had my first experience at Painting with a Twist in Tallahassee recently, and it was wonderful. Erika was a talented, cheerful, patient instructor who kept us engaged and encouraged us to be uniquely ourselves while working on the task at hand. She and Ben were great, and I can’t say enough positive things about how much so many of us non-​artitistic professionals enjoyed pretending to be artistic. :) It was fabulous, and I highly recommend it for anything from teambuilding to celebrations to just a healthy way to have fun and make gifts for yourself or others

Joanna and her staff are so welcoming and will make sure everyone has a great time! PWAT is great for smaller friend groups up to large office parties. I have quite the collection of PWAT art in my house and am looking forward to a «paint your pet» event soon!

By far the greatest way to spend an evening with friends. Not much to do in this town so when PWAT opened we were on it. Have been back 6 – 7 times now. Love the staff and you leave with a decent piece of art.
You don’t need to know how to paint to enjoy yourself.

This is probably one of the coolest things that I’ve done since being in Tallahassee. You’re no good at painting or you don’t feel creative? Not a problem here at Painting with a twist.
You can sign up either by phone or online to paint a painting with friends, alone, or make a private party and celebrate something worth celebrating.
I’m not sure how long this place has been open, but I know this is one of a chain of these places. But even still, it is so fun. Basically you choose a painting, make an appointment and then you are seated in a room with an instructor who teaches you how to paint a painting, and they usually come out either very good copies of what you originally meant to paint, or you can add your own flair to it and make it your own.
The instructors are great artists and are very good teachers, they come around the room in order to encourage you on or give a few pointers here and there.
I am certainly not the sort of person who paints, but I’m not gonna lie, it ended up looking pretty awesome.
Oh, and the twist? Depending on what time or what type of class you sign up for, there’s wine that comes with your class. WINE. What is there not to love?
Just be aware if you’re having a private party you are responsible for bringing your own beverages and food if you want, it’s all allowed, they just want you to enjoy yourself.
