I hired Randi to do my bridal makeup, as well as the makeup of my five bridesmaids. I hired her out of state (I live in Boston), and I met her on the day of the wedding. She was great! She was filled with jokes and made all of us feel at ease. I appreciated that she listened to all of our makeup requests (natural look, no mascara, fun eye makeup, etc). The airbrush makeup looked so nice on my skin! She followed us to the wedding venue, did a few touch ups, and explained to us how to touch up anything else that would need to be touched up. I loved how my makeup looked that day, and I felt so beautiful!

I was an older bride at my recent wedding and wanted to look my best for the occasion, which is not as easy as it once was. Randi did a superb job, and made me feel as beautiful as she made me look. I will always be grateful and would not dream of using anyone else. I give her the highest recommendation.

Randi DID NOT SHOW UP on my wedding day and did not even call to inform me she would be unable to make it. It then took her about 10 days to even call and apologize.
It has now been two months since the wedding and Randi has not provided a refund. We have had contact with her abd she takes over a week to respond each time. She initially told us she would pay us back in three installments starting January 15. We have not seen a penny from her and now she doesn’t even have a date to start paying us back.
This process has been nightmare. Avoid Randi Buchanan at all costs.

I was a little wary of signing a contract with someone I had neither met nor heard anything about, but Randi has an impressive clientele list on her website and so I went for it. She has about 5 women who work for her, and Melissa did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I was planning a wedding from across the country, so I was actually not able to do my trial run til the week of the wedding. Once Melissa did that all my fears fell away– this woman knows what she is doing, and most importantly, she does what YOU as the bride want. I brought a picture for the hair, and she did such a great job making my hair look exactly like the picture! The last thing I wanted was to look like a pageant queen on my wedding day– we had a VERY natural theme, and Melissa did an awesome job catering to my comfort level of makeup. Not only that, but I genuinely enjoyed having her around on my wedding day. She is super relaxed, friendly, and was interested in getting to know me and hearing about mine and my husband’s story. All of my bridesmaids enjoyed getting to know her and I really felt like she was invested in my day and wanted me to be happy and feel like myself.
