Damn this library is amazingly huge and cool! I went to a small private college that did not have a very large library at all. Sometimes i would visit the nearby university and study their too and i thought that was nice. Then I come hangout with friends at FSU and I am amazed! How many floors?! I cannot count! A legit Starbucks downstairs? Yessss! So many students everywhere I was amazed how hard it was to find a seat. You can fit a TON of people in this building. Downstairs with the computers was actually pretty loud. The upstairs levels were super quiet! Books books and books everywhere! Very clean and well kept here too! Now the only reason it is missing that final star is the staff. Grumpy mean girl who only gave me a 2hr guest pass. Strict security at the entrance and you have to scan your ID before entering the whole library. Would definitely be awesome if it were open to the public. I understand the FSU Elitist feeling though.

Club Stroz. So many good memories here. Starbucks saved my life pulling all nighters here back in the day.

Strozier library has an extensive collection of books, documents, media, micromaterials, and databases. While the library is primarily used by students and faculty of Florida State university, anyone can use materials on site. Internet(other than databases) and checking out materials requires an FSU student login/ID or a yearly membership fee. Strozier is usually a great place to study, and has dozens of individual study cubicles that are great for reducing distractions. The first floor was recently renovated and boasts a large and powerful computer lab, group study rooms, and even its own Starbucks where students can grab a coffee for marathon studying. If you have research or studying to do, few places on campus are better than Strozier.
