Tuesday was the first time I’d stepped back into Ruby Diamond at my beloved FSU since 1978 to attend a lecture by Rapper/​Actor Common. To say the renovations are exquisite is quite the understatement !! Immediately reminded me of the Knight Concert Hall at the Arscht Center in Miami. My husband and I plan to attend more events at Ruby Diamond now that we’ve retired to the area just to oogle its beauty.

In 2010 the newly christened Ruby Diamond Concert Hall was reopened following a 38 million dollar renovation that completely transformed the facility into a 1260 seat music hall. Parking was not a problem. Tickets were very reasonable. We went to a Clint Black concert here and is was an excellent venue for a show. With the small audience the performers seem to really take an interest in the audience. The theater is amazingly beautiful and the renovations really made it warm and inviting. Sound quality was excellent, seats were comfortable. I purchased several more tickets for future events here.
