Seriously Strong Training is the outcome of Keith Hansen’s dedication and hard work towards weightlifting and healthy living. With the addition of Christian Santiago, SST has solidified it’s status as a well oiled fitness training machine in Tallahassee, Florida. Both trainers vast knowledge of form and technique is abundantly clear from the initial meeting. Seriously Strong training provides personal training, olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, kettlebell training, nutritional guidance and mobility work to it’s clients. I have been training with Seriously Strong Training for over two years now. In that time, not only have I lost fat and weight but I have gained much more. The confidence I have found bc of SST has helped me be able to walk into the gym and train by myself without worrying if I’m being judged by others. Furthermore, that same confidence has helped me in my social life to be much more secure with who I am as a person and has helped be build/reinforce my relationships with others. SST has built up my physical strength. I’ve been able to deadlift my body weight and a half and have tried out different exercises I never once thought I’d ever physically be able to do. Mental strength has been a huge gain for me, thanks to SST. When you find yourself lifting heavy weights that you never imagined you’d touch let alone lift, it does something to your mental awareness. It makes you want to tackle all those other tasks and ideas you’ve been putting off due to your fear of not succeeding and/or your ego getting in the way. This new found mental strength has not only helped me to not let negativity from my surroundings dictate my mood and/or actions but also to not let any challenge or obstacle scare me into not attempting it. Overall, what I have been able to walk away with is that I am stronger than my excuses and I deserve to and CAN be strong in all aspects of my life. I would and have recommended Seriously Strong Training to anyone interested in changing their body, mind or life for the better. It’ll be the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself!

Iron Therapy — SST provides not only a strong physique, the mental strength must be worked on as well. I’ve read all the books and guides on training. I’ve tried just about all methods to become strong and look good. I never thought a trainer could help. I’ve researched all the fad diets. I became thoroughly interested in Olympic lifting about a year ago. I was able to learn the lifts from a book, but my wife and I knew that in order for me to not hurt myself and get something outta my workouts I needed a coach. SST was a place a buddy mentioned at dinner one night, I called Keith up and he impressed me with his knowledge and attitude towards exercise. I signed up and did my first competition the next month. Came in 2nd place! I have gone from a long lanky frame at 205lbs to a sturdy 225lbs. Strength has increase like this in 2 months Bench 245lbs to 275lbs 1 rep PR Squat 330lbs to 340lbs 1 rep PR Deadlift 265lbs to 285lbs 1 rep PR Clean and Jerk 215lbs to 245lbs Push Press 185 to 225lbs(my body weight) Come Get you some Iron Therapy, you won’t regret it!

When you hire a qualified and experienced trainer, it’s a huge bonus when the person is humorous, genuine, and generous. Keith is all of those things plus he’s a lifting, learning, and teaching machine. I had been lifting barbells on and off for two years with just books and videos to help me when I met Keith. With his help, my squat form has vastly improved and I’m safely and correctly bench pressing. I often train on my own, so getting in to see Keith is something I really look forward to and always a good experience. I leave feeling more knowledgable about how to get strong. Check it out! Seriously Strong Training was my first experience with personal training, and I couldn’t be happier. I spent a few weeks working out on my own, but I didn’t feel confident in what I was doing and I felt a little silly with so many people around that really seemed to know what they were doing. I decided to hire an expert. Fast forward three years and people approach me in the gym with compliments! I started my personal training with 3 days a week and over time slowly weaned myself off as my confidence to work out on my own grew. I only visit on occasion now when I need help with a particular exercise, but even with months between sessions it’s like I never missed a day – they treat me like family. One of the things that sets SST apart from other training services is their ability and focus on teaching. When I told them my plan to learn free weights, develop skills, and eventually train on my own, Keith(the owner) said let’s do it! Within 6 months I was doing assigned workouts on my own, and by the end of my first year I was doing the majority of my workouts solo. One of my first concerns when I started weight training was that I would become big and bulky, but I quickly learned that isn’t a reality. I’ve weight trained 4 days a week since I started, and still look just as feminine(just firmer and I have a booty now!). Another concern was injuring myself, but with the focus on technique and slow progression, I’ve never injured myself(despite my 200lb deadlift, 200lb squat, and 110lb bench at 125lbs body weight *stealthbrag*) The money I spent here was worth every penny, because I will lift weights for the rest of my life safely and effectively.
