I had a completely different experience than Cathy T. with Style in the City… Elizabeth Joy was my stylist for my recent engagement photo shoot. I have REALLY thick, curly hair and I wanted a half-​up, curly look that was sleek and natural. She totally delivered, managing to tame my frizz on a humid Tallahassee day. We also did an all-​over color that was a really rich, medium brown with some warm highlights. The entire experience was great, because of the personal attention, and I’ve gotten tons of compliments on the subtle, natural-​looking color. To top off the whole experience, I ran into Elizabeth Joy several weeks later at the bridal expo and not only did she remember my name and the services she had provided, but she asked about the pictures and how everything went. Very friendly, very knowledgable. I will definitely be back!
