Martha’s Place

I have been getting take out from Martha’s for many years whenever I visit my Dad in Tamaqua. This was the first time I dined there, and was pleasantly surprised. There were 5 of us, and 4 of the meals were delicious and enjoyable. The only complaint anyone had was with the black and blue burger. It was a burger, stuffed with blue cheese. It displayed horribly, and according to my sister-​in-​law, it did not taste very good. I have never before seen such a messy looking burger. I had the broiled scallops, and they were perfectly prepared, and delicious. Two of our party had the haddock, and were very pleased with it. Our server could not possible have been nicer, nor taken better care of us. All in all, it was a pleasant evening, and I will definitely dine there on my next Tamaqua visit.
