I’m one of those people that, if I can’t have a real tree, I don’t want a tree at all. We haven’t had one for several years, as the prices are always too much. This year, since my daughter has a job, she put her foot down and off we went in search of a reasonably priced tree. In years past, we’ve had pretty good luck at either Lowe’s or Home Depot. This year their trees were in terrible condition, with big brown spots or gaping holes in the shape, but with prices that you’d expect to see on really nice trees. 7 – 8 ft. trees were $ 70 and up. Nope, that wasn’t going to happen. Most of them were still in nets, so you had no idea what they even looked like. So we went off in search of a better deal and stopped in here, where the trees are up and out of their nets and you can see what they look like. The first one that we wanted was about 15 ft. tall and nearly perfectly shaped. However, we only have 8 ft. ceilings, so we kinda had to let it go. I looked at the price, just out of curiosity, expecting it to be hundreds of dollars. It was less than $ 100! We had hope! They had dozens of trees of all kinds. After looking around for a while, we found a nearly perfect 8 ft. Frasier fir(our favorite) for a very reasonable $ 45. It was soft and fresh and smelled like Christmas. All I can say is I’m so glad we found this place!
