This is my first Unilocal review and I have created an account just to write it! The food here is amazing. After living in Hawaii for several years it has always been a challenge to find good, local Hawaii’n food. The food here is definitive Ono! The owner is extremely nice as well. I got the combination plate and every item on it was da bomb. If Aloha To Go is in your area, check them out!

My husband and I got to try Aloha To Go at the Spring Beer Fling last week. I don’t think I’ve ever had better tacos! Everything is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We also had a beef plate which was very tasty as well!

Fresh off the heels of a trip to Hawaii and Okinawa, I was happy to find the Aloha To Go food truck at the Cuban sandwich festival because they have a Hawaiian version of a Cuban sandwich. Ingredients? Kalua pork, SPAM, Swiss cheese, mango pineapple chutney with sriracha mayo on Cuban bread… Absolutely freaking face-melting. This was the best non-traditional version of the sammich I’ve ever eaten in my life. Is this item on the menu full time? I don’t know, but if not, it should be! Truck owner is very nice as well. She took time to field my silly questions in the middle of a busy rush without making me feel like I was being inconsiderate. Anywho, 4 stars for now until I get back to try the Kalua pork and potato salad combo.

We usually don’t check out food trucks because the lines are usually forever and a day long. Today, the first Cyclovia In Tampa Bay took place in downtown Tampa. There were a handful of food trucks there. One of them included Aloha To Go. Anything Hawaiian catches my eye. I picked up an order that was huge of three meats — pork, chicken, and beef w rice, cabbage, and macaroni salad for $ 10. It was super huge for my hubby and I to eat. Had a good flavor that I would recommend to anyone. The people working it were so nice and helpful, and also gave me a side of pineapple cole slaw to try. Good food, and anything hawaiian, pineapple, or coconut will get super props. when you see them around, definitely give them a try.

Got to taste a sample of their food during a food truck rally and definitely was convinced to ordered. We got a mini plate of shoyu chicken it came with white rice and pineapple slaw. The chicken was really nicely juicy and had great flavor, we also got to try the teriyaki beef. Definitely will want to try the kalua pork, macaroni salad and if they are serving it some spam musubi.
