It all comes down to location, location, location. The staff here has always been extremely friendly and helpful. The main issue with this store is two-fold. One, it is situated on the corner of Memorial Hwy and George. During peak traffic times, the traffic back up(and the fact that folks think they can make it through a light when its gridlock and block the intersection), can make it impossible to get into the parking lot or leave once you’re done fueling up. The second issue is the layout of the store and its parking lot. It is one of the smaller, older designed 7-Eleven’s with the pumps located at an angle in the corner of the lot. There are a limited number of pumps and very little space to try to maneuver around other cars to get an open spot that accommodates the side your gas tank is on. Unless you’re in a total pinch(your gas light is on, and has been on, and you think not looking at it will go away), head on over to one of the more convenient stores further up on Memorial or Hillsborough if you’re heading that way.

Terrible! Needless to say by the score, unless you’re on fumes skip this establishment. Tonight a clerk named John was working the counter. I picked out some Coconut Water as they were 2 for $ 5 and some smokes. I wanted to ask«Do you guys still carry Starbucks Refreshers?» But all I got out was«do you.» Before the clerk immediately cut me off and said«All we got». I attempted to ask again though he said the same before I finished. After being forced to speak over him stating«Different product, Starbucks, do you still carry Refreshers!?» He pointed at the fridge and stated«Starbucks are in there». At this point I gave up. I had looked in the Starbucks area, but also know some 7/11s put them near the energy drinks, or juices(hence me asking). Soo onto the coconut waters. Rang up as $ 3.69 each and I let him know they’re advertised as 2 for $ 5. He quickly stated he didn’t know how to do it, grabbed the flyer out of the cooler and said that was last month.(Which was incorrect as I noticed the date was still valid as he set the ad down on the counter). Either way that didn’t matter as it falls under false advertising which I am very aware of working in the retail business. He refused to change the price for me unless I waited 2 hours for someone else to come in. Now I’m not sure if he doesn’t know or just didn’t want to change but I’ve visited that 7⁄11 often and have been helped by the same employee for a few weeks or even months. It would be surprising for him not to know how to override an improperly advertised price, being how serious that can be for a company. Last thing I’ll mention is I was the ONLY other person in the building, no deliveries, no people outside pumping gas. — Take my advise and just keep going, there’s 2 other stations within a half mile that’s more worth your time. Sorry Sev, you’ve lost a promoter for a while.

This is the first gas station off the highway/expressway and it’s not great. There are entirely too few pumps for how busy it gets and the parking lot is extremely small and awkward-shaped. Unless I’m absolutely about to stall out, I drive the extra mile to Circle K or Shell for the convenience of not feeling like I’m going to be front-ended.
