When you are in Florida you must have Florida grouper and Cuban food. A hotbed for falafel it is not. But I was craving falafel and thought to give this place a try. To be honest, the falafel left a lot to be desired. The falafel itself was not fresh(not green on the inside) and did not appear to be home-made. No crunchy texture at all. The next problem was the lack of flavor from the sauce. And lastly, they use a soft burrito wrap that looks out of place and is too soft. Perhaps they are known for other dishes, but my 2 and ½-star rating is only for the falafel.

It’s always a good sign when the employees at a Greek restaurant are Greek. Athenos has become a standard solution to my «oh-no-it’s-3pm-and-I-need-a-quick-lunch» situations. Great, quick, authentic Greek lunch selections — with tasty Baklava & spinach pies as well. Muuuuch better than Pita Pit, and Starbucks is next door for all of you corporate coffee lovers!
