Bayview Radiology

I had my first mammogram at this location. My technician was Lauren. I swear she is the best one I have ever had for testing of any kind!!! The staff in general was fantastic, but Lauren made all the difference in an awkward experience. I won’t go anywhere else! I highly recommend Bay View Radiology!!!

I had an HSG test last week, EVERY thing I read online said it was very painful but quick. The radiologist and patient coordinator was amazing. He talked to me about random stuff and I did not feel ANY pain. That was very tricky and I honestly believe this is why other women have said it’s so painful because the person performing it gives step by step detail. They were super friendly from beginning to end. Bayview will be where I go from now on not tower.

The girl Who makes appiontments there need a deeper courses of how to be an excellent customer service. She is very unrespectful not only with the patients but with coworkers too. I went in person to make an appointment and her bad actitud made me go to find another place to go. Be carefull Bayview with those kind of reseptionist you Will lose patients and reputation.

Slow!!! It took over an hour and a half just to take my insurance information. Go somewhere else. Time wasting away…

Bayview Radiology has become my go-​to place for X-​rays, MRIs, CT scans, and all of that wonderful radiological stuff. I’ve been here so often that I think they should name a chair in the waiting room after me. Maybe a little brass plaque or something like that?
Two years ago I had a nasty automobile accident and really wrenched my back, neck, shoulders, and knees in the process. The doctor and chiropractor sent me to Bayview to get initial scans of everything, and then the subsequent looks at the soft tissue and spinal disks during the healing process. I am amazed that I don’t glow in the dark after the number of times that I’ve been there, but I guess that is a testament to the wonderful job that they do at Bayview.
Trust me, it is not a lot of fun to be enclosed in an MRI machine and lay there immobile and peaceful for 20 minutes while this noisy thing whirls around and around just an inch or so from your head. Pretty freaky stuff, but thankfully the staff is well aware that most people do not enjoy the experience, and they take steps to explain what will happen, and then calm your fears.
If you have a choice of where to have your x-​rays, scans, and ultrasounds conducted then I highly recommend Bayview Radiology. They’re located in the office park at the intersection of Linebaugh Avenue and Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood. You’ll find them right behind the Starbucks.
Oh, and be sure to ask if you can sit in my official chair in the lobby!
