I could write a novel about Bern’s but I won’t…as many others have said, Bern’s is the best steakhouse on the planet. My daughter Megan wrote a great review about our dinner, so I won’t steal her thunder(she writes far better than me and she’s only twelve). It was a special evening and I’m grateful to be able to pass on the Bern’s experience just as my own father passed on to me. She’s come a long way from chicken fingers and fries to escargot and steak tartare! Long live Bern’s.

Oh my word! This is my favorite steakhouse ever! The steaks are amazing. The servers are knowledgeable and the atmosphere is quintessential steakhouse. The wine list is 174 pages long! So many choices. The tour of the wine cellar is worth doing if you are a first timer. Be sure to go upstairs to the dessert room after your meal. This is not to be missed. You must tell your server when you are dining that you wish to go upstairs after. They will ask if you forget. Don’t miss Bern’s. Expensive but worth every penny.

I’m not even kidding, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to in my LIFE. There is truly nothing else like it, anywhere. I would give it six stars if I could.(yes, it is that good) Everything was amazing from the food to the overall experience. I’m also amazed that this place has the largest wine list in the world. It is like you are reading a book when you are looking at it. It’s also very helpful that you can order cocktails before you are seated, therefore you are not bored while waiting to be seated. I went with the Shirley Temple, which was very good. We were lucky enough that we were seated right after we got out of the bar. We were seated in the Florentine room, which was very quaint and elegant at the same time. Our server came almost right after we were seated, so we were able to order and recieve our appetizers quickly. We went with the escargot and the original steak tartare, and both were amazing and we’re of the best of quality. Not long after we received our French onion soup. It was absolutely amazing! And the cheese on top was the perfect touch. Shortly after that we got our salads, and every single ingredient in that was super fresh. OK, now comes the moment we have all been waiting for… the steaks. I went with the 8 oz filet Mignon, which is so tender that it cuts like butter. It was super flavorful and you could tell that it is the best quality steak. It also came with a baked potato and their onion rings. The baked potato was the best that I had ever tasted, and the onion rings were crispy and not greasy at all. You would think that the steak is the end of your meal, but it’s not. You are led to the kitchen and you go on a pretty neat tour. Shortly after you are led with a group to the wine cellar. It is ginormous and I have never seen so many wine bottles at once in my life. And it’s still not over yet. You the go to the desert room upstairs. It is very charming and has a modern touch to it. We were seated there quite quickly and a server soon came to our table. We went with the Bern’s baked Alaska. When it comes out they pour flaming liquors on it which looks pretty cool and makes a sweet video. Unfortunately, I got this huge shot of liquor when I took my first bite of it which was very unpleasant, but the rest of the desert was delicious. We were extremely full by the time we left but still had a pleasant feeling in our stomachs. I will never forget this experience for as long as I live and I hope to come back here soon. I highly recommend this place to everybody out there, you will not regret going.

This place is amazing! The bar is great, the service is great, and the food is great! It always its! This place has been around Tampa for ever, and I try to go back every time that I make it out this way. Living in Las Vegas I get spoiled by great restaurants but this place is over the top good. You can’t go wrong with anything that you order here. Their standard steaks are better than Kobe beef that I have had other places. Cheers!

So disappointed in my most recent experience at Bern’s and the lack of any type of customer service skills(or basic manners) displayed by the entire staff at the host stand. We made a reservation for 6 people at 7pm on a Sunday evening, to celebrate 2 birthdays(my dad and his brother share a birthday and we always celebrate together & this one was special because we were celebrating them turning 77 and 80 years old). My sister came in town to surprise my dad, so our party ended up being 7 people. Bern’s was completely unaccommodating, and not only did they turn us away, they did so in such a rude manner. I have been dining at Berns for 25+ years, and I’ve never experienced such awful service. All of the hostesses at the front spoke to us in such a condescending manner, as did the man who was supposedly the manager. I really felt like a «second class citizen». Since they would not accommodate us, we had no choice but to leave and dine elsewhere. The other customers in the lobby felt so bad for us after hearing how we were being treated that they called and made us a reservation at the Elevage restaurant at the Epicurean hotel across the street. Luckily, James the manager at the Elevage accommodated us with a smile on his cheerful face!

**This is a bar dining review only** This was my first dining experience at Berns and I was hoping to eat in the dining room. Several days before I planned on going I called to make a reservation. HUGE surprise… No way I was getting a Saturday night reservation by calling on the Wednesday before. We decided to go anyway and eat at the bar. We arrived around 5:45 and the bar was already full(8 names ahead of ours) so we sat and(of course) drank wine. You can order food in the bar area not sitting at the bar but not steak so we were waiting for the actual bar to order a steak. We found out that they have an undisclosed type of house red wine that is served all the time, I believe the actual wine changes but it’s only $ 5. It was fantastic so we had no problem waiting a really long time to get a seat at the bar. Finally we were seated at the bar! We ordered the 17oz Chateaubriand cooked medium rare. The menu explains how thick the steak will be dependent on how many ounces you order. They view this as an order for 2 so this size steak comes with two salads on two plates with all of the sides. It is essentially two entrees. I am giving Berns 3 stars because the steaks were awesome, I mean really really great but everything else was just okay. The décor is so dated, there are no windows and the place just has a creepy feel. Not really my thing.

LEGITSTEAKHOUSE and BESTSTEAK I’ve ever had! I know there’s 1,000+ reviews on this, but this restaurant, the food, and the complete dining experience is AMAZING! Note, making reservations can be tricky here. Calling way in advance will help you, trust me they are always booked, but they are totally worth the wait! As we were informed, Bern’s Steakhouse and a community within itself. From the outside you wouldn’t think much about it, but once you step in it’s a whole different world. Even if you have been here before or it’s your first time, definitely take the tour of the restaurant. It’s really cool to see the entire kitchen and the staff, the wine cellar(which if you didn’t know is the largest wine cellar in the world!), and definitely treat yourself for some dessert. I had an amazing time here with friends, the food was phenomenal, service was excellent, this is definitely the place to come and indulge a little!

Unbelievably good. What more can be said than has already been written about this place? My wife and I came here for our anniversary tonight. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal. No, let me rephrase that: we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. You see, to get the full Bern’s experience really does take a good 3 – 4 hours at least. We started off with a cheese course that was to die for(I recommend the Stilton or any of the sheep’s milk cheeses). Make sure to get the olives, too! Then, we got French onion soup that was, I kid you not, the best we’ve had outside of France. The garden salad came next, which was fresh and scrumptious. Then, the steaks arrived. I had a filet that was outstanding, my wife had a delmonico that was somehow even better. Both came with a baked potato, fried onions, and side veggies that were all perfect. Naturally, we had some amazing wine. Here, I recommend doing a little research in advance: Bern’s actually has the biggest wine collection in the world(no seriously, that’s literally true). Picking a glass for dinner can be a bit overwhelming. Afterwards, we took a tour of the kitchen and the wine cellar, then went upstairs to the dessert room. Make sure to get something that has the macadamia ice cream with it!!! I also strongly recommend the Irish coffee The service and atmosphere were top notch throughout our visit. We will definitely be back. This place deserves every bit of its legendary reputation, and if I could give it more than five stars I would.

This was the most amazing dining experience I’ve ever had! I went with a party of ten. With three bottles of wine and each of us ordering a steak entrée(which includes a cheesy French onion soup, fresh salad, 2 sides of grilled vegetables, thing crispy onion rings, loaded baked potato, and, of course, the mouth watering steak) we each paid $ 76, which also included tip. The service was so phenomenal we each added additional tip to our check. Our waiter was so knowledgable about every single item on the menu. Also, after dinner our waiter gave us a tour of the kitchen and their wine cellar that holds wine bottles from the 1800’s. We ended the night with the most delicious and decadent desserts. There is a whole separate floor for desserts. It’s a more romantic setting, with dim lighting and an enclosed area for every table. The piano is playing in the background and there is a phone by each table to call and make a song request. Some of the desserts were prepared right in front of us. Each dessert and after dinner drink was beautifully presented and tasted divine. All in all, this was an epic dining experience. The amount and quality of food you’re getting is pretty amazing for the price. Bottom line: if you’re in Tampa, GOTOBERN’S STEAKHOUSE!!!

500 reviews seems appropriate for a Tampa institution. It only took me 12 years to visit! When I first moved to Tampa, I was indeed a carnivorous being who enjoyed a good filet mignon. But having since changed my eating habits, steakhouse wasn’t on my list. So 2 things have kept me from taking the Berns plunge, the fact that it is known for steaks and the prices. Well, I was wrong on both counts. It behooves you to visit this well deserved 5 star establishment regardless of any of the above obstacles. The ambience is old school upscale elegance. The servers are well trained and have loyalty. One of the servers they nicknamed clydeasaurus, endearingly. Where else can you opt for a kitchen tour and a visit to Americas largest wine cellar? The amount of food served is abundant. I ordered the charcoal grilled scallops with cream corn in a beurre blanc and herb oil, which comes with a salty delicious French onion soup, think cheesy goodness atop onion broth. Their seafood is fresh and excellent. We did learn how all their steaks are cut to order, so if you are meat eater, go for it! The sides come with your meal. Got a mountain of onion straws, green beans and carrots. The highlight was the famous Harry Waugh dessert room, an experience not to be missed! Treat yourself to the macadamia nut sundae or any of the other 50 or so options. The enclosed booths make you feel like you are in a drawing room of an estate. The coffee is another splurge not to be missed. Some of the best tasting coffee I’ve had. Love that the dessert room is upstairs and they also have a champagne room, mostly used for private parties and a port room. Berns is a place to be savored and experienced and not rushed. We spent time in the bar as well. Great cocktails!

#500! I definitely saved this place for a milestone review. Welcome to Bern’s. This was, and will be(for you) an absolutely amazing dining experience. Come for the steak, stay for the tours, and don’t you dare forget about dessert. Once you walk through those doors there isn’t a window in sight, another very important hallmark of the Bern’s experience. What’s going on outside? Who cares, look at that STEAK. We arrived at 8:15pm for our 9pm reservation, and were greeted by a very nondescript, white building with valet parking and a parking lot littered with cool cars. Bentley here, Bentley there… no big deal. Before you arrive, make sure you dress to impress, with a Florida touch — or you might get stuck in the lounge. Think east coast business — less the tie. You’ll feel the right amount of fancy, and fit right in. We started with a drink in the lounge, and I suggest you do the same. There are a lot of comfortable seating arrangements to choose from, so find some room and wait until your table is ready. Treat yourself to a mojito — delicious. A fine example of how real cane sugar can make a drink that much better. However… be sure to nurse it. There is wine to be had. Once you are seated, take some time to read over the menu. Read the stories, learn about the cuts, admire the«meat choices» page… you’ll be here for a while, so read slow. Absorb the information. At the same time, your designated wine appointee should take a look at the wine book, which is at least 60 pages deep filled with bottles that date back 20…30…40…50+ years. Then notice the prices. $ 50 for wine bottled in 1970, 15 years before I was born? Sounds good to me. We ordered three bottles of California based wine: 1970 Inglenook Pinot Noir(Napa) 1973 Trentadue Zinfandel(Sonoma) 1975 Parducci Petite Sirah(Mendocino County) Three bottles, one table, nine glasses, three serving baskets, one decanter(two of the bottles didn’t need it). All three delivered on an angle(so the sediment is not disturbed) opened the right way, open flame included. It was a fantastic process to watch. Got any questions about the wine? Just TRY to stump these guys, I dare you. It takes a lot of time and training to become part of the waitstaff here, and that includes sommelier level wine training. Now that you are sipping your various wines, order some steak. Skip the apps; the steak comes with everything you need. We each ordered the Delmonico, medium rare. Excellent balance of meat and fat, cooked perfectly. Before the steak got there, we were treated to the french onion soup, which was just the right size and absolutely delicious. Enjoy with garlic toast points, without question. Salads came right after, and for this, I recommend trying multiple dressings. All are house made, and there are a lot to choose from. Citrus Vinaigrette and Italian Viniagrette seemed to be the table favorites, but I definitely preferred the Italian. I wish I could have brought a bottle of that back home with me. Order your baked potato with the works and it’ll arrive with your steak. Also on the plate are some fried onion strings, which are enjoyed both on their own or as a complement to any bite of steak. At this point, it’s been hours. You are full. Time for the kitchen tour! Learn about the giant grills, check out even more cuts of meat, and notice that every single staff member(every. single. staff. member.) is friendly and smiling, even when you are 100% most definitely without question completely in their way. Head to the wine cellar for a tour what is just a fraction of the the complete Bern’s Steak House wine collection. This tour was definitely a highlight of the evening. So. Many. Bottles! Did you forget about dessert? Don’t. Head up to the dessert room, which is essentially run like a separate restaurant. Get your private table, crank up the piano music, and get ordering. Enjoy a glass of port and order a few desserts. We went with: Bananas Foster(gigantic) Baked Alaska(amazing) Cinnamon Ice Cream(amazing) Key Lime Tart(good but not the best i’ve had) Cheesecake(amazing) Yeah, we did the fat version of dessert. You should too. Order an iced coffee(just slightly sweet, very creamy), finish up, and leave 4 to 5 hours after you arrived full, tired, and quite happy. You will enjoy amazing steak, taste amazing wine, see an amazing kitchen setup and wine cellar, and get fat with dessert, all at a very(Manhattan comparative) reasonable price point. Reservations required, and best made five to six weeks(yes, weeks) in advance, especially for Friday/Saturday night. Tampa. Bern’s. Steaks. Yes.

I was able to get a reservation three weeks out for 6PM on a Thursday. You pretty much have to valet, but it’s just $ 5. We got there about 5 minutes prior to our reserved time. The hostesses were pretty standoffish. «Do you have a reservation?» was the first thing out of her mouth. No smile, no nothing. Not a good very first impression. I had just planted my butt in one of the tacky chairs, when our name was called. So no wait at all. The restaurant is gaudy-ish in a bordello sort of way. Not my cup of tea, but whatever. Our server was very nice, very informative and helpful but also spoke VERY fast. We had to ask him to repeat more often than not. But we made do. We had originally gone in planning to get the Chateaubriand for 2. Our server noticed that my husband wanted to try the Strip and suggested getting both. He had both steaks plated together, so we could each try both. They were both fantastic and perfectly cooked medium rare. The steaks include a delicious, albeit tiny, French Onion Soup. It also includes a salad, onion straws, veggie & baked potato. The salad was pretty large and served with homemade dressings. I, personally, would have preferred a smaller salad and a larger soup. The onion thingies were yummy. I left the baked potato for last so I wouldn’t get too full and not be able to enjoy my steak. After dinner we took the kitchen & cellar tour. Very informative and we were happy to be able to see both. Very impressive. Then it was off to the dessert room. The dessert room itself is great, with its individual casks. We, of course, played with the music selector like a pair of five year olds. We decided to split one dessert and chose the Roasted Pineapple. It was delish and not overly sweet. A nice ending to a fantastic meal. You can spend a ton of money at Bern’s or you can spend a minimal amount and still get a fantastic meal. Your steak comes with soup, salad, & sides. It’s more than enough for a great meal. If you choose to add anythin a la carte(other appetizers, sides or drinks, etc.) then of course, you will probably dish out quite a bit of cash. For us, our steak dinner was more than enough. I wasn’t going to get too full and not be able to enjoy dessert. Also, be aware that they add a 12% service charge to your check. We were aware of this beforehand and just worked it up in our mind as part of the bill and added gratuity to the check amount prior to the service charge. They clearly describe a dress code on their website. So we packed up some dress clothes(nothing too fancy). My husband kept pointing out people in jeans and complaining that I wouldn’t let him wear jeans. Big baby! It should be noted that we don’t care what people wear and it does not affect our enjoyment. We will be back. Soon I hope.

Yes 4 stars, I know some of you are gasping as you read this. Let me start by saying that my expectations for Bern’s are very high since it’s a Tampa institution and is known for its exemplary service. The one thing that I love about Bern’s is its service, and in the past it’s the best I’ve had at any restaurant in the Tampa bay area. This was my 3rd or 4th time dinning at Bern’s and each time we go to the dessert room and we have done the kitchen tour twice and of course always order wine. So my review will include all the aspects of the Bern’s experience. As always, the people working the valet are very polite and do a great job welcoming you. When I walked into Bern’s for the first time, I was a little taken by the décor, it seems very dated and old school but as I continued to go to Bern’s it has grown on me and the décor makes sense now. Fit’s the old school institution idea Kitchen tour– it’s a great idea and it was nice to see how that part of the restaurant is run. My issue is that I feel like the chef/cooks should be dressed like chefs and sous chefs or at least not look so disheveled. Wine– wow what an amazing wine list and I loved having the chance to check out where they keep the wine and all the information they provided, very interesting .Of course we ordered a bottle and it was delicious. Service– usually the best service, the servers are very attentive, often personable and provide information about Bern’s which adds to the Bern’s experience. On this visit, the service wasn’t as good as usually. Our server said I’ll be back in a minute, he didn’t come back for 10 minutes to take our drink order. The same thing happened once he took our drink order, we didn’t see him again for another 10 minutes and he was very no nonsense. I think he may have been backed up but someone should have helped him because the service is one of the things that makes Bern’s a special dinning experience. Once we ordered, the service got better and he was a little more personable and did come back and check on us a couple times. Food– Our dinner started with French onion soup which was good but not very hot, next we were served our dinning salad which was good but the homemade dressing is what made the salads. As for the entrees, my dining companion ordered the Chateaubriand and I ordered the Macadamia crusted chicken breast with wild rice and arugula topped with a citrus. The Chateaubriand was so tender and delicious, but he said his food was just warm, not very hot. The chicken was good with a little sweetness, and definitely hot and tender and not dried out. All the flavors were very good. Harry Waugh dessert room– We were seated in a little two seater room that was cute but I think it was the last mini room in the entire upset. It was up against the wall which had some machine behind it and it was making a REALLY loud noise, I turned the music up all the way but you could still hear this loud noise. Now for the desserts, OMG heavenly… serious, I think I’ve died and gone to heaven. I ordered the Framboise decadence which was a combination of macadamia, raspberry, and chocolate so delicious and my friend ordered the chocolate peanut dessert which was also good but at this point I was stuffed and could only take a bite. Small issue that were not mentioned, the menus were tattered and dirty, and where we sat in the dessert room, it was really dusty. I could have written dust me. For me it’s the small things that take a restaurant from great to excellent and I feel like they need to take a minute to take care of those things that seem to have been neglected. I almost forgot… this is Bern’s, isn’t there a dress code because if there isn’t there should be one. Seriously, jeans, hoodies and to top it off, a women with a side open bag carrying a dog throughout the restaurant. You read that correctly, a dog in Bern’s. So there were some issues on this visit but on the previous visits, service and food temp was never an issue so keeping that in mind, I rated Bern’s a 4 instead of a 3.

Amazing food and great service. Prices are very reasonable considering all your sides are included. The French onion soup is amazing! Show stopping desserts that make your mouth water! The dessert room is a total must! Do the tour it’s great fun! They take a nice picture for your group in the cellar which is nice. I had a lovely dinner here and can’t wait to be back!

This is our favorite restaurant. Hands down. The service is stellar. A huge shout out to Patrick and Lisa. We always request one of them and they are delightful. I am amazed at the people who think Bern’s is out of their price range. We find it to be incredibly reasonable considering what is included with your meal; soup, salad, baked potato and vegetable. The wine list and cocktail offerings are equally amazing. We also love the Dessert Room, but most of the time we are so full from dinner that we do not make it that far. If we do, the macadamia nut ice cream is our dessert of choice with some yummy coffee. Also, give some of the non-steak entrees a try too. The duck confit is so fabulous I dream about it. My first experience at Bern’s was a birthday meal when I turned twelve. It has stayed gloriously the same ever since, cough-cough, 38 years later. A shining example of what is right with Tampa.

The second experience was not as good as the first one. Like a total different place. We were seated in a busy, loud, and crowded room. I think its because of Friday night but still. The service was slow and it took forever to get our server’s attention. The food is still amazing. I ordered Chicken Berns again. I got made fun of last time when I told people I went to a steakhouse to get chicken but they dont know how good it is. It was amazing as I remembered. The dessert room is better this time. We sat next to a pianist and he was really funny and friendly. The funniest part of the night was someone request a Justin Bieber’s song. The pianist said he will try his best and he played it perfectly.

My favorite restaurant in Tampa so far. Came here for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Food was fantastic but other highlights were the tour of the famous wine cellar and tour of the kitchen. For dessert we went upstairs to the dessert room and were seated right next to the pianist. The dessert room is a fun option even if you don’t come here for dinner. Service was excellent. Also, you can’t take photos in the dessert room– oops!

Oh geez, I’m not even sure where to begin about my Bern’s experience! Let me start by saying that I rarely dress up to go to a fancy restaurant for fine dining. And by rare, I mean never. I’ve been wanting to try Bern’s for many years and FINALLY got around to it tonight. I recently got a promotion at work and decided to make this my excuse to book a reservation. I booked about a month in advance for a Friday night(7:30pm) with a party of six. Five of us had never been before. We were all very happy with the evening! FOODFIRST: Steak. This is why we went here of course. We ordered the 17oz Chateaubriand for two cooked medium rare. AMAZING. Really good quality. My favorite part was actually the crispy seared crust that surrounded the juicy steak. It was cooked to perfection and flavored impeccably(I’m a salt lover and this needed none). The steak came with french onion soup which was the best I’ve ever had. Also heavily seasoned and covered in a thick layer of cheese. Sides included a salad, loaded baked potato, onion straws and veggies. I had my salad with the Cleopatra dressing which is actually Caesar. All dressings are house made and served on the side. My dressing was fantastic with an anchovy floating on top(yum yum yum). Sides today were collards and carrots. Both very tasty and the onion straws were amazing. We also ordered the Lobster Roll… NOTE: this is NOT a sandwich, it is sushi and honestly not very good. This was the only disappointment of the night. The escargot was outstanding though and was covered in a rich spinach sauce of some kind. We visited the dessert room afterwards and tried the Macadamia Ice Cream that our friend ordered. SOOOOOOOO tasty! Must try! DRINKS: Wine galore. OMG so much wine. Too much to handle. There is a wine bible with over a hundred pages of bottles and glasses. Overwhelming. I just asked the waiter for a glass of pinot grigio and the one I had was delicious for $ 6.25 a glass. The wine cellar at Bern’s has over 600,000 bottles of wine!!! Costliest is $ 30,000 if you’re feeling like a baller. In the dessert room, there is a ridiculous list of dessert wines and fine liquors. I had a German brandy(2 oz pour for $ 7) which was so incredibly smooth and worth the cost. I will return just for this selection. ATMOSPHERE: Here’s where Bern’s goes above all others. The entire establishment is beautiful. We sat in the Florentine room which was actually very well lit. Other rooms were dark and ambient. We took the tour of the kitchen and wine cellar(ask your waiter when you are in the dining room if you want to visit the dessert room). The kitchen was insane! So large! You get to see all aspects of production and the massive facts behind Bern’s daily workings. For example, they can grill 200 steaks at a time, cut off 75% of the steaks that they use, go through 350 lbs of onions PERDAY and use local farms for their fresh ingredients. Fascinating. The wine cellar is chilly and has a lovely musty smell. Rows and rows of wine bottles along with the ‘sample collection’ that costs up to $ 300 per sample. Crazy! The dessert room was by far my favorite. We were seated in what felt like an old fashioned train car. There’s a wall phone with music selection buttons and volume control. The rooms are very dark and give you a really chill feel of what fine dining felt like back in the day. I’ll be back for sure. This was my favorite part! STAFF: Freaking phenomenal. SO professional and attentive. You can tell these waiters take their jobs very seriously. They are dressed to the nines and portray manners that have been forgotten at other restaurants. Bar staff and cooks are also very passionate. I imagine they are very proud to work at Bern’s and have been around for a long time. Tip them well, they highly deserve it. GO. Just go. You must experience it at least once. You’ll pay tons of money to do so, but it truly is a trip back in time to when dining out was a luxury. Oh, one more thing… don’t wear jeans. You won’t be seated in the dining room if you do(read this online).

Gasp! Only 4 stars!!! Yes, 4 stars, lost 1star cuz/I am super picky about my fancy restaurants and wait staff! For visitors, it seems as though they have a strict dress code, BUT I saw more jean-wearing gents then their website would like you to believe. What can you say, this place is great, atmosphere is that of a baroque steakhouse, covered in red to stimulate your senses and inner desire to eat. Despite being a top steakhouse in the USA, it is reasonably priced for what you get. Stars lost as it took FOREVER to get our drinks, order our appetizer(smoked fish smaller — great choice) and get started. What I love about Bern’s is you choose you steak and you get an extreme amount of food that comes with it. Tonight, we had green beans cooked in what tastes like ham juice, giving them a nice flavor, and shredded carrots — you will always get soup(french onion), baked potato(prepared table side, how you like it) and crispy onion curls; they spirals over 300# of these per night — what a terrible job! I tried my steak rare, with a warm center, intend of my usual med. rare and I was very happy with my decision. Ribeye or delmonico is the BEST steak here. Try it since we had«tourists’» with us, we did the restaurant tour(they no longer show you the meat) on our way to the Harry Wough desert room. Why loss of ½ star? The waiters/servers leave their huge trays in the center/walkways of the room, which is annoying and make NO attempt to get them out of the way or help you out which is very annoying. The desert room is another review, but I have to say the past 2X service in the desert room left me… un-impressed…
