My husband and I were caught up in the housing storm of living in a house that we owed twice as much as it was worth. We wanted to offer it to short sale so we could jump on the great low prices of the housing market. We certainly did not want to «go-​it alone» and researched lawyers to help with the short sale process. After interviewing with three or more companies, we were firm in our decision to select Blick.
WORST. DECISION. EVER.
We were so happy when Kim spent a large amount of time on the phone with us, going over our situation. We were sure this was going to work in our favor. We were told specific instructions to follow. it was as easy as A.B.C.
And so we went to work, gathering all information just as told. We purchased a new home, AS INSTRUCTED, and immediately moved in, AS INSTRUCTED. Had a Cash buyer lined up. Only to have our short sale DENIED!
Wait, why was it denied? We did everything right? Oh wait, no we didn’t. Turns out, Blicks simple ABCs, were the ABCs of getting denied. She missed simple details that should have sent our situation on an entirely different course. Having this brought to her attention, she immediately cast denial and blame. But we’re not THAT ignorant, we had proof that she was given ALL information and it was HER error.
Management tried to appease us, removed her from our case and attempted to take care of us. Only to screw things up worse.
At that point we were done with them, we had to leave if we wanted to salvage what was left of our credit. They had NO problem letting us go. Hell, I’m sure they threw a party since we weren’t going to sue them or report them to the BBB.
THREE years later we are now stuck in the FORCLOSURE process as our credit takes a tailspin dive.
If I didn’t have a job, I would spend my days pacing the front of their business with a sandwich board advertising their horrible service. if I saved ONE family the emotional and financial struggle we have had, it would be worth it. Save yourself and run AWAY from this place.
