Channel Park Trailhead

This is where I begin all of my weekend runs. It is one of the trailheads that connects the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. For $ 2.00, you can park here for the entire day with free roam of the trail and facilities. Here you will find a park rangers’ station complete with mens, womens, and a family restroom. There are water fountains as well as a water station with ice cold water and disposable cups. In case you forget to bring your own, there are free bags for cleaning up after your dog, too.
There are frequently families enjoying the picturesque landscape for family photo sessions, and you will never fail to see skaters, cyclists, and plenty of runners. This is one of my cleanest parks I have found in this area.

This is a quiet park where you can walk, ride your bike, sit on the benches, or just sit in the car. There’s a $ 2.00 park fee; it’s on an honor system.

Great facility at beautiful setting. Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, benches, fresh water to drink, dog clean-​up station. There are also office rooms for rent.
Small fee to park there, but otherwise everything is free!
