Chipotle Mexican Grill

Love the Chipolte in my neighborhood, but lately they have been having issues. Today we walked in for dinner and we’re not acknowledged by staff who continued to re-​stock. It was obvious that taking our order and preparing the food was getting in the way of something more important than serving customers.
There was no tea and was told it would be 15 – 20 minutes to get tea.
The overall experience was truly lacking.

I live in San Diego, CA, so I understand that the quality on the east coast won’t be the same as the west coast. However even though the food was good and flavorful, it was lukewarm at best, the red spicy salsa was very mild, the salad wasn’t fresh, and their chips were stale and bland. Also while I sitting inside their restaurant eating my food, the fire alarm randomly went off, and they let it ring for at least 2 minutes before they went back to try and turn the thing off.
I love Chipotle, I love their food, but I don’t think I would ever go to this Chipotle again.

Tried to get a quesaritto and they wanted to charge me for a burrito and a quesadilla… what is wrong with you Chipotle. Seriously missing the old Chipotle management.

I have to give an obligatory 2 stars because there’s no doubt the food is and will be good. The lack of the other stars is due to the rudeness and unfriendly service I received from this particular Chipotle location. I have to preface this by saying that I have worked in the restaurant industry, so not only am I extra nice to employees, but I’m understanding of the amount of food they’re allowed to give you before it becomes «double meat.» That being said, this Chipotle is really stingy, and I eat here enough to know what that constitutes. I asked for extra meat after 100% being ripped off, only to have a rude, unfriendly face and response of, «I can’t really give you any more.» It would be one thing if she had been nice, but she had absolutely no customer service skills and left me feeling bad. I’m paying for it, you can give me more, and if it ends up being double, that’s fine, I have no problem paying.
As I was leaving, I noticed her talking to another employee, more than likely about me, as they looked up at me several times. Will not be returning, very disappointed

This place is famous for hard rice. I get brown rice all the time but this location is almost always under cooked. Its made a few 1^st timers never return to a Chipotle w me. Keeps me from eating extra carbs I guess.

Out of lettuce out of carnitas 35 minutes before closing. Simpering server rolled her eyes and asked the cook who was cleaning an obviously powered down grill how long it would take. Blatant passive aggressive for a fast food server and cook who don’t know their place… ye/​I said it, we all paid our dues. I am sick of businesses promising a available time planing my day and getting unreliable service. Chipotle is no mom and pop, there is no wiggle room when they tap tap that extra bit of meet off the tongs so corporate makes their margin so uh pony up jerk make ur promised hours.
Your cut off. No more from me and i was a fan tried to talk others into your food, now I will sing the song of bad chain with bad service.

Love this restaurant! Awesome Tex-​Mex food.
The only recommendation that i have for this outlet is to have brown rice and whole wheat tortilla options like other restaurants do have, i.e. Dulles

The lines at this Chipotle are short. They put a lot of meat on your burrito. It’s right next to the mall. Good location!

I love Chipotle. Chipotle is my comfort food as their burritos got me through college adequately fed (and easy on the pockets). This is your typical Chipotle as far as design. Came here for dinner (8pm) on Saturday and it wasn’t packed at all. Greeted immediately by the staff and they were all quite friendly. Ordered my typical carnitas and chicken burrito bowl. The server gave good portions and didn’t skimp on the meat which can happen at other Chipotles.
I wish I could give 4.5 stars. 0.5 star deduction for size of the parking lot and the ability to access the restaurant (can’t make a left into the restaurant if you’re on the opposite side of the road).

Love Chipotle! Hate this location. The parking stinks, the line to order is always out the door, and the staff could be a little more professional. I would never return to this location from the fact I ordered a bowl, and when it got right to the assembly line where the employee asked if I wanted guacamole she noticed a string of hair. She quickly tried removing the hair and topped my bowl as if I had not been looking. I gave her the «WTF» face and politely asked her to make it again, as she chuckled with the fact she could have gotten away with it. Excuse me? Let’s talk about health hazards people.

Not your typical chipotle. Store feels dirty, 2 fountains on soda machine are out of order, tables are dirty at 821pm, thanks goodness the food is still passable for chipotle but sautéed vegetables still raw. Missing the chipotle Tabasco branded sauce. An area manager needs to visit this place.

The worst Chipotle we’ve ever been to. Staff wasn’t friendly in fact almost rude, they were out of just about everything, the chips were stale and had no lime salt, ordered double portion of meat and got a single but was charged for a double, was loud, dark, and the kitchen was filthy.
We will drive further out to go to a decently run Chipotle. This place was a joke.

This is not a bad place but just need some other item on the menu. It have free parking and also a outside area to eat so it you want something simple to eat without paying a lot then this is for you so eat up and enjoy.

Well… went in to pick up dinner the other night and all of the employees were loudly talking to each other, yelling at each other in a «joking» way, barely giving me the time of day, almost looked like they were upset I was ruining their fun time by waiting to place my order. Several employees used language I would not expect in front of customers and if I was not mistaken, one of the employees who was involved in all of this loud chaos was some sort of supervisor as he was just instigating them.
I was finally able to squeeze my car into the world’s smallest parking spots once people starting to leave as parking here is not good at all. There is always a line (probably cause the employees spend more time horse playing instead of handling the orders), things seem to always need re-​stocking, cleaning, etc and it just does not seem like a well run restaurant. There are other places to go so this will be my last visit here.
When I was finally able to eat… the food was just okay. They seem to be getting a little skimpy on portions… found a small bone in my chicken and the meal was just average.

I absolutely love Chipotle, but this location doesn’t hold up. They always seems to be running out of certain items and scraping the bottom of the pan.
Been in there several times and just see a bunch of kids working there. No sign of a manager or authority figure.

This chipotle is conveniently located in front of Westshore mall. I Stopped by with my fiancé for a sofritas salad bowl and a chicken salad bowl. Wowza… thats the biggest serving i have ever received… i had to take the rest to-​go. In terms of cleanliness, serving size and service speed i give it a 4 out of 5. Although it was prime time, it was pretty speedy service. I was dreading making the line but they actually served me faster than i expected. Kuddos! I read in an older review that sometimes if you order sofritas you might have cross contamination with other meats which worried me, but i didn’t have to deal with that… so it’s all good. I’m definetly returning here!

I need to preface that Chipotle should get 5 stars. I love Chipotle. If I could marry Chipotle or make out with Chipotle (sloppy HS making out, not adult making out), I would. Unfortunately, the best I could give this location is 3. Let’s go.
1 whole star lost for the parking situation. I drive a compact, and I felt like I needed to start playing bumper cars just to get into the spot. Combine that with the fact that you are coming off of a very busy Westshore, you may end up backing up traffic, since someone in front of of you is trying to jigger their way into a spot, holding up the flow, and causing a ripple effect of annoyance. At the other end, you have a bottle neck where you can only turn left, and only one car can fit, so you may be stuffed and then stuck for a while.
1 whole start lost for the salt. Yes, this wonderful little mineral that has served roles from currency to condiment for centuries was notably absent. I asked for salt packets, and was informed there were salt shakers near the straws. False. Now, I’ve heard of folks taking stacks of condiments OUT of a restaurant, doing a sneaky squirrel maneuver and shoving packets into a purse or pockets, but I have never heard of someone taking condiments TO a restaurant.
The food, spot on. My favorites are a double chicken bowl with brown rice and black beans, mild salsa, cheese, sour cream with lettuce. Pair that with chips and the hot salsa and its a match made in heaven. On my fatty days, I get a steak burrito, also paired with the chips and salsa, and a diet coke to keep me from getting fat. Location is clean, seating is ample, and there were no shortages of napkins, straws, lids or lemons.

Great fast service. Typical chipotle. The food was fresh, staff was efficient. Employees kept the area clean. If you’re in the area looking for a chipotle this one is the place to visit. Close to hotels in the area as well as a mall across the street!
