Code Engineered Systems Roofing Contractors

I purchased my home not even a year ago and based on Hillsborough’s permit records, Code Engineered Systems installed a brand new roof a few months prior to that. Now that my ceiling is showing signs of a leaky roof (multiple watermarks) I initially contacted DODSON RUSSELL (president/​contractor) at his cellphone. He advised to text him the details which I did and he just replied I should contact the office. After that, I have called multiple times and left several voicemails at the office without response.
I didn’t have the opportunity to work with them initially since they were hired by the previous owner to do the job, but if my experience with the quality of their product/​work (leaks not even a year after installation) and their poor customer service (zero responses to multiples attempts to rectify issue) is in any way an indication of how they do business, I would strongly recommend anybody reading this review to look somewhere else.

I was very pleased with the new roof they put on my townhouse. They were extremely professional and timely and communications were great. They even did a little bit of woodwork which extended the roof just enough to brick the side should I decide to do so later. I did a lot of calling around and got a lot of quotes and their prices were the best of the ones I trusted to do the job. A few were a little lower but I never make important decisions like this based strictly on the lowest price and the 2 that were lower I wouldn’t even consider just based on my experience and judgement after 68 years of living experience tackling projects like this. I highly recommend them and they will be the company I’ll be using from here on. It’s getting harder and harder to find an honest company anymore and when you do find one you had better keep them!
