Just like the name says, it’s a bait & tackle shop. We got a couple of fishing rods for $ 20 each here — & I don’t know much about what fishing rods cost, but that seems pretty cheap to me.
They’ve got a pretty wide selection of lures; when we went fishing for Spanish mackerel (our first time with a specific fish in mind) a friend of mine had recommended the Gotcha lures, & Denny B’s carries them in different colors & sizes. They’ve also got «spoons» (the metal diamond-​shaped lures), & tons of other ones depending on what you’re going for.
Naturally they have bait (shrimp, & probably little fishies too) & you can buy a bait bucket & pump here if you don’t have one. They’ve also got freaky looking glittery wormy things that I was told are for catfish. Totally gross.
Whenever we go fishing we stop here because it’s nearby & the guys running it know their stuff. The prices are good, too, or at least much better than the bait shops at the fishing piers (wherein by «much better» I mean like a dollar different…).
