$ 14.97 barely average buffet. Ambiance is probably the worst I’ve seen. The place need some serious work.

The building and inside isn’t much to look at but everything was clean and the food was fresh with a large number of items. The buffet area was divided into a large vegetarian section, a section of meat item and an area with a variety of desserts, fruits and condiments. The spicy items had just the right amount of heat for me(I’m very wimpy when it comes to hot food). The fried items I tried weren’t at all greasy. I was impressed by the large number of(I’m guessing) Indian people that kept pouring in. Families with kids and older folks which to me indicated the food must be close to home cooking. My only complaint is that the aren’t located closer to Sarasota because I’d definitely go again!

We went there dinner time during the week. Wasn’t a buffet night. Food is decent yet took almost an hour to come out, was sizzling hot yet felt it was cooked twice. Mango lassie was not bad but too sweet. the lady(seemed to be the owner) was warm and welcoming. The guy who served us though spoke light broken english and messed up our order, hence the 4 stars. Might come back for buffet and see if it’s better. Overall value for the money is decent.

Here for the weekend lunch buffet. Though there is a variety of items, almost all of them are cold. If only they had been warm, I am sure they would have tasted better. Most of the items were oily as well. Returned for a weekday buffet and saw that they are recycling the dessert items. I am not sure about the non vegetarian items though.

This place is located on N. 5th St. In Temple Terrace near Busch Gardens. When you first come in, there’s not much personality to the place. It’s old, dark, almost dingy with very little artwork on the walls. It’s like someone opening a restaurant but only had enough money for the food and not much else. It’s a no fuss no muss type of place. We came here for lunch buffet which is between 11 – 2:30 daily. Once you walk in, you are told that you can sit pretty much anywhere. They have a single tv that continuously streams Indian pop music videos from a Roku device. The buffet is divided into 3 separate stations. You’ve got a vegetarian section, a section for meat dishes, and a section for salad, sauces, and dessert. There is a small ice cream machine located in the same section as the meat dishes however. I tried all the dishes in the buffet but my favorites have got to be the daram masala, the naan, and the butter chicken The naan was perfectly chewy, and the other two dishes were perfectly creamy which of sets the spiciness of each dish. I also enjoyed the syrup drenched fried doughs, especially with the soft serve vanilla ice cream. The buffet is certainly a nice way to try Indian food if you’re new to this type of cuisine. The servers did not know English very well but they kept out table cleared and water glasses filled at all times. I will certainly come back and will make Curry Bowl my new go to Indian place.

My husband and I enjoyed curry bowl — we went there for a dinner buffet and being from the region we thought the food was authentic. More importantly the service was so nice. They care for their customers. The ambiance was ok, but curry bowl deserves a 5 star cause of the food and service.

The perfect place to satiate an Andhra appetie. Very hospitable hosts who understand the diners need for the well spiced Indian food. The variety of things served is worth mentioning… all for that price!!! There is an opportunity to improve the ambience. Wll come again & again Love it!!!

Excellent ambience and delicious food. Nearly 40 items in buffet. Special chicken biryani is the best.

As out-of– towners in search of some Indian food we landed up here to be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dosa, and chat. Hospitality is also worth a mention. Décor is just ok masking good(south Indian) food that it has to offer.

The new owners are doing a great job. We went for the lunch buffet during the week. The food was so tasty! It wasn’t as spicy as when it was Mayuri. I like it spicy. The quality seems better than Mayuri. The chicken tikka masala is amazing. Everyone was attentive. I do miss the mango lassi though :(

We tried Egg Manchow soup, Paneer butter masala and Malai kofta here. Soup was very good and deserves 5 stars, according to my wife. Punjabi curries were not good, tasted somewhat like $ 2 frozen curry from Indian stores. I will try again, but I think this place is over rated on Unilocal

Great food, great service! We ordered Chicken Biriani and Chicken Tikka Masala. Perfectly spiced and so so tasty. The waiter took time to explain the different verities of food options. Very polite and informative.

Tried this place in search of a Nice South Indian Restaurant(Andhra Style) in Tampa and finally found this one. Weekend Lunch Buffet is very nice with Lots of varieties and Tastes very nice and spicy. Hope they will maintain the Quality consistently. I will visit again until they maintain same standards.
