Great place to study! Music in the background is on point plus the menu covers all of your coffee needs. Friendly service & clean bathrooms

Fantastic coffee shop. Great Americano sweet and dark with no bitter. They get coffee and also have a very cool vibe. Didn’t have one but the pastries smell of butter and look crisp and Paris worthy.

Really cute local coffee shop. The Cuban toast is super good. Little tip, ask for honey and cream cheese to spread on the toast! You will be amazed how great it tastes with the buttered toast.

Need a bigger selection of pastries available all day. The breakfast selections have gotten much better. Americano is the gem of their coffee selection. Strong drink!

Best atmosphere, service, and quality in the Bay… hands down. Edit: Please don’t tell anyone, but the wifi is legitimately free & fast. ;-)

I really love DI. I’m generally not the biggest fan of espresso, but DI has won me over with their Gibraltars. I also get cold brew from time to time and it’s always delicious. My only qualm is that they don’t have a slow bar. I’m a sucker for a good pour over. The décor and the atmosphere is fantastic, and I love that it’s open late on weekends. Most coffee shops close early, so DI is a great place to hang out with friends late on a Friday or Saturday.

Nice to enjoy panther coffee brew in Tampa. Major props for having misters outside, wish the original panther coffee in wynwood would take heed. Two person band playing outside today(saturday). Barista’s are solid. Good cortado.

DI Coffee Bar is by far my favorite coffee shop in the Tampa Bay area. It’s more of an experience than anything. The décor is rustic, vintage, and modern all pulled off perfectly. They share the building with a furniture store so I was told a lot of the furniture in there is for sale. They also sell their own jams, dressings, wine, beer, etc. Most coffee shops that look like this are pretty pricey but DI Coffee is very affordable(read: cheap). The staff is really friendly too. I was interested in a drink another customer ordered and the barista quickly explained everything to me and let me try the drink. The outdoor seating area has fans that spray mist, so if you’re a person like me who likes sitting outside, you won’t have to worry about dying in the heat.

On a Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago my husband and I tried DI-it was fairly busy around 2:30pm. We got café con leche for both of us & a few macaroons of assorted flavors. The café con leche wasn’t creamy, it was extremely bitter & expensive. We got pistachio, salted caramel & chocolate macaroons-out of the three flavors the only one that tasted even decent was the chocolate. They weren’t moist at all & literally flavorless Styrofoam. The décor inside was nice & the atmosphere was nice but other than that… We won’t be going back.

I love this place. They serve Panther coffee which rivals Buddy Brew and in my opinion is a superior coffee. The ambiance here is great too. The modern design and open concept works well. I tried the Coffee Con Leches and it was one of the best I have had. I hope to see more coffee shops like this open in Tampa.

Nice, super comfortable and well put together place! Not a large place by any stretch of the imagination, there are more shelves, paintings, guitars and pillows than there ate seats here, which is what gives it the«Super Comfy» vibe… They also serve Panther coffee out of Miami here, which is a-okay by me!

DI Coffee Bar, located on Davis Island, is a very cool café just a couple months old. I stopped in for an iced café de leche(around $ 4) after having lunch at Thai Island next door. There a few things which sets this café apart from many others in Tampa. First, they use Panther Coffee, which is a roaster based out of Miami that has won awards. So that’s different as many cafés around Tampa run on Buddy Brew, Kahwa or Joffrey’s. I liked my iced café de leche. They have various types of sweeteners including Liquid Raw and honey so I could get it to my sweetness level. The ambience is really, really nice; almost seems as if you’re in a Restoration Hardware. From what I understand, they share the space with a local home furnishings company and everything in the café is for sale, even some cool old guitars on the walls. It’s comfortable, cozy and conducive to studying or working as there are large tables and plenty of seating options(bar, nook with leather armchairs, family size dining/study table). There is also an outdoor patio that is dog-friendly. They serve breakfast items(some Mexican-inspired), wine, and other things too numerous to mention. They also sell candles(Seventh Ave Apothecary), jams, honey and the like. I also like how there is natural light from the skylight and they played cool music. Definitely a place I’ll frequent regularly.

Unique but unexceptional coffee, but an exceptional atmosphere. I’m overly particular about my coffee, so this was a little bit smoky for my taste or to give it 5 stars(or something), but it was excellently done. The menu is basic, as seems to be the trend these days, but impeccably executed and with enough variety to suit all tastes – and reasonably priced for an indie coffee shop in my opinion. Bonus: they are serving TeaBella for all you tea lovers, which has its home just down the street mixing up fantabulous tea blends. What really makes me love DI Coffee, though, isn’t just about the solid coffee and great tea selection. It’s the atmosphere and the location that make it great. They’re located along the old fashioned Main Street, with a wonderful patio overlooking the street that welcomes dogs. Inside, while less built to snuggle in for four hours of working, it has a cozy modern feel that just welcomes conversation and makes it a great place to meet people. I’d be really interested to go back at night when they turn it into a bar!

Really wanted to love this place and may give it another try; but not a positive first experience. Not sure who’s crazy, me or them. Ordered my usual two large ice coffees. Not usual for me, I asked for almond milk as the wifey prefers it. When the order came, the milk was visibly separated and looked curdled. Yuk! Coffee should not have texture… I asked my barista, and he says«no, almond milk and soy milk just naturally separate.» Hmmm… this does not happen when we use almond milk at home. I ask wifey, and she says, «yeah, it separates when it gets rancid, and that’s what happens when they don’t go through much of it.» I have to say I trust wifey on this one, and six other people at DI ball field seem to agree. Regardless, the coffee tastes terrible. I don’t know if it is spoiled milk or just really bitter coffee. As cool as the style and sophistication is for this new establishment, the bottom line is that the product must be excellent. At $ 12.95 plus tip for two 16 oz coffees(w plenty of ice), anything less than a perfectly executed product is really unacceptable. I don’t know if I’ll give this place another try, but more likely I am headed to Starbucks… It’s too bad, as I’d really prefer to shop local, and this seems like a great concept for Davis Islands. I just don’t want to get price gouged for anything less than perfect delivery. I’ll keep a watchful eye on this one.

Can’t offer you too much. I’ve been stuck on this vanilla latte since I came here the first time. I’ve seen the décor change, walls blown out, food added to the front, and a mixture of the working class and moms on walks coming in. The vibe here is pretty chill, chill enough to actually concentrate on whatever work you actually brought in to do instead of just staring into the the abyss. Enjoy your visit here and marvel in the different shapes these baristas can make out of your foam.

This place is great. It feels like a neighborhood coffee bar. I love coming here in the afternoon to sip on some coffee and get some work done. Being a frequent Seattle visitor and a habitual coffee drinker, I think their beans are solid. Joe and his employees are really friendly. They treat me and everyone coming in with the utmost respect, and are incredibly easy to start a conversation with. The wine bar is pretty good too. My girlfriend and I went there one evening. The wines and prices are pretty good(~$ 6/glass) and the atmosphere is nice. 5 stars!

1. Great atmosphere in an area that needs a local upscale hangout. 2. Coffee was good but I felt slightly overpriced. $ 6.96 for a 4 shot cappuccino. Not really a complaint, but $ 4.95 seems more palatable. I would still come back for sure, just for my everyday morning cappuccino. 3. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying a glass of wine. Too many coffee shops miss out on this important element. Adding beer and wine provides that extra kick consumers want in local spot.
